I loved creating this result for my wonderful patient. It’s very satisfying looking back on the before photos and seeing how far we’ve come over the months.

In this case AI was helpful in giving the patient somewhat realistic expectations on the results she could achieve.

BOEY hasn’t launched in the UK yet, but it’s already receiving mixed reviews. The biggest concern seems to be the shorter-lasting results. But is that necessarily a bad thing?

Think about:

- The anxious patient who’s terrified of looking “frozen” for 3-4 months.
-The patient who had a bad experience with Botox in the past but is curious to see what a different injector could achieve.
- The last-minute patient who doesn’t have time to wait for traditional Botox to kick in and wear off before an important event.

For some patients, a shorter duration could actually be a benefit rather than a drawback.

You’re choosing their aesthetic, their professionalism, and their honest opinion when it comes to your appearance. The right injector will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear.

Don’t go looking for a yes, because you’ll always find one. Go looking for someone whose judgment you trust.

⚠️ Counterfeit Weight Loss Injections ⚠️

I’m sharing this post to raise awareness about the rise in counterfeit weight loss medications currently circulating.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen patients fall victim to this. These medications should only ever be prescribed by a qualified prescribing healthcare professional following a proper consultation. They should never be supplied “out the back” of a salon or by someone who is not medically licensed.

If someone is offering to sell or administer these injections and they are not a prescribing healthcare professional, please ask yourself:
How did they obtain this medication?

Prescription-only medicines cannot legally be sold on. If someone has obtained it under their own name and is selling it to you, that is illegal. In many cases, these products are counterfeit, sourced from unregulated and unsafe suppliers, and sold on for profit.

A lot of these pens look legitimate and have the exact branding as the original but these medications are not licensed, safe, or what they claim to be. I have personally seen patients become unwell and require hospital treatment after using counterfeit pens.

For clarity, I do not prescribe weight loss medications - this post is purely about patient safety and awareness.
