Amazing first job as a Qualified Mountain Leader taking a group up Snowdon who made a fantastic effort. Humbled to have been a part of it, such a sad and tragic story of how they suddenly lost a friend and were raising money for the family. It puts so much into perspective and how life is so short. Cherish those that you love and never take things for granted, your health, your friends and your loved ones are the most important things in life. I am always grateful for the life I have and those that I share it with.

So I reached a huge milestone in my life today where I finally became a Qualified Mountain Leader!! It has been a long journey for me where I have juggled 2 businesses a part time job and home life alongside trying to train and build my skills to reach my goal. There have been moments where I have battled with my MS and the fatigue and pressure that built with it was sometimes overwhelming, I kept telling myself that no matter what I was able to do it and with the support of my family and friends I finally got there. To anyone out there that is battling an illness or has inner demons where you think that your goal is not possible, trust in yourself and don’t be afraid to ask for help and support, if I can do it then so can anyone else! 🤗

When life throws difficult times your way, stand up tall and fight back! A little girl called Audrey who fights DBA every day singing "her" song showed me that. Audrey herself is my inspiration and she brings a smile to my face and even tears of joy every time I watch her whether it be singing, giving everything she has got at her zumba class or just the little things she does. A truly amazing little girl!! :)

I was diagnosed with MS in 2008 and so its always in the back of my mind to stay as healthy as possible but not only that but to keep a positive mind!!
Being away from home is no excuse so drinking my fruit smoothie on the way to the Peak District to meet our Silver Duke of Edinburgh groups who we are assessing for the next couple of days!!
