We are a local family owned and run Funeral Directors, with a Funeral Home in Llandovery and branch office in Llandeilo.

IC and SM Davies, is run by Clive and Sue Davies and their sons. We are now in our 5th generation of funeral directors and have for the past 25 years been located at The Britannia House Funeral Home in Llandovery. In 2014, we opened a branch office in Ffairfach, Llandeilo. Clive and Nick are the Funeral Directors who between them have over 50 years experience. They are supported by their respectiv

e wives, Sue and Lizzie who can offer a female approach. Stephen is the glue who holds us all together.

Bryan Shaw

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 at Glangwili Hospital, just prior to his 80th birthday.

Bryan of Llansadwrn, much loved husband of Jane, loving father and father-in-law of Ruth and Tim, Beth and Tom, Tom and Rebecca, proud Dacu of Ollie, Ben, Alice, Will, Ellis and Poppy. Much missed by cousins Vernon and Shirley, his wider family and friends, the six o'clock club and generations of labradors.

Following a private cremation the family warmly invite you to join them for a service of thanksgiving to celebrate Bryan's life at Llansadwrn Church on Friday 28th August 2026 at 3pm, followed by light refreshments at the Sexton Arms, Llansadwrn.

As a celebration of his life, splashes of colour are welcome.

Cochyn of Coed Bach, Sennybridge.

Mark Evans

Passed away peacefully at his home in Preswylfa, Manordeilo on Thursday 9th July 2026 and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

For those who wish to say a final farewell to Mark. Please feel free to attend the Britannia House Chapel of Rest, Llandovery, SA20 0DD on Sunday 19th July 2026 between 4pm and 5pm or Monday 20th July 2026 between 8.30am and 9.30am.

A service to celebrate Mark's life will take place on Monday 20th July 2026 at All Saint's Church, Gwynfe, SA19 9RE at 11am, followed by an interment in the churchyard.

Peacefully on Monday 22nd June 2026, Iona of Mount Pleasant, Llangadog, passed away at Glangwili Hospital, aged 82 years.

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Chris, loving mother and mother-in-law of Emma and Rodney, Katie and Jon and a much loved and proud Mamgu of Hanna, Gwenno, Annie and Martha. Cherished sister of Alan, faithful sister-in-law of Rosemary and the Penpwll family, and a dear aunt and cousin.

Her loss is greatly felt by all her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on 22nd June 2026 at his home in Llangathen, with his loving partner Debbie by his side.

John, formerly of Tŷ Isaf, Trapp. Much loved dad of Daniel and David, proud Grandad Apps of Josh, Esme and Elliot, dear companion of Roxy the dog and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
