🌟 Fantastic turnout for our Family First Aid Course today! 🌟
Here’s a little clip of me introducing what we hope to achieve during the session 👨⚕️❤️
Today we had 7 adults and 4 lovely children join us for a relaxed, practical session focused on helping families feel more confident in an emergency.
As an experienced nurse, parent, and first aid trainer, my aim is simple — to give parents, grandparents, carers, childminders, and anyone looking after children the confidence to stay calm when it matters most.
Because when your child is unwell or injured, panic can take over. We want to help you feel calm enough to know:
✅ When it’s okay to monitor at home
✅ When to call 111
✅ When your child should see a GP
✅ When it’s time to call 999
✅ And when you should head straight to hospital
We also cover all those everyday moments at home — bumps, burns, choking, fevers, cuts, head injuries, allergic reactions and much more… because sometimes all you need is confidence, calm, and a plaster 😊
📍Over the next couple of months, I’ll be booking small, relaxed Family First Aid sessions across Conwy, Rhos-on-Sea and Colwyn Bay.
I like to keep course sizes small and personal so everyone gets time to ask questions, join in, and feel comfortable.
🏡 Got a local community centre, parent group, nursery, church hall, or even a group of friends who’d like a session at home? We’re happy to bring Family First Aid to you too — creating relaxed, friendly sessions in your local area or even in the comfort of your own home.
📘 Everyone goes away with:
✔️ Family First Aid guides
✔️ A digital copy of our Hartley First Aid flowcharts
✔️ Practical skills that could genuinely help in an emergency
