ART, CRAFT & GIFT FAIR - 11 JULY 2026 - ASHBURNHAM HOTEL, PEMBREY.

The organiser of the above event, Joyce Rees, wishes to extend a big thank you to Family and Friends Crafters and volunteers who gave their time to the above event in aid of Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Appeal Fund.

Thanks also to the local small businesses and crafters who donated raffle prizes.

It was a disappointment that the event was not well supported though advertised widely. However, £282.73 was raised from the raffle.

Many thanks to everyone for their hard work and support which is so appreciated.

PRESENTATION IN MEMORY OF DONALD WATTS

At Ty Bryngwyn Hospice on 20 July 2026 a cheque for £3,751.00 was presented to Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Trust and Medical Staff by Mrs Anne Watts and sons John and Peter.

Mr Watts passed away at the age of 71 and his sons took on the huge challenge on Father’s Day by hiking Pen y Fan 10 times back-to-back. Over 40 miles and around 4,500 metres of elevation in a single climb.

They knew it would be tough but they felt it was the least they could do to support a place that gave their father such dignity and comfort in his final days. Our sincere thoughts are with the family and their loss.

Our grateful thanks go to the family for their support and to all those who contributed so generously.

MID & WEST WALES FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE - PRESENTATION TY BRYNGWYN HOSPICE 13 JULY 2026

At Ty Bryngwyn Hospice on 13 July 2026 the Red Watch of Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service presented a cheque for £408 to Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Medical Staff and Fundraisers.

These funds were raised from a charity car wash held on 11 April at Asda Llanelli to raise funds for two important causes - Ty Bryngwyn Hospice and the Fire Fighters Charity.

The event was well supported and our thanks go to a very generous community who attended and donated which ensured that the day was a great success.

It was a great pleasure welcoming Red Watch to the Hospice and to show them around the Unit and acquaint them with the work carried out there.
Our grateful thanks go to them for their support and for all the valuable work they do for our Community.
