This event means so much to us because every one of us in the team has been affected by cancer in some way. That’s why we’re coming together to support Relay For Life and help raise funds for life-saving cancer research ❤️

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and around the world, teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money for world-leading research, honour those affected by cancer, and celebrate the progress being made.

Every donation makes a difference:
❤️ £60 could buy a microscope lens, helping scientists focus on the tiny details that could help beat cancer.
❤️ £2,000 could fund the CanRisk project for one day, helping to predict cancer risk more accurately so cancer can be spotted earlier.

Help John Pearson raise money to support Cancer Research UK

A major new review of over 100 scientific studies is raising serious concerns about va**ng. Researchers have identified increasing evidence that e-cigarettes are associated with lung and oral cancers, as well as cellular and DNA damage that may elevate the risk of tumour development.
In our day-to-day occupational health assessments, we are also seeing the impact first-hand. During spirometry testing, it is not uncommon to identify a significantly increased “lung age” in individuals who vape—often well above their actual age—indicating reduced lung function and early signs of respiratory decline.
These findings reinforce the importance of regular health screening and early intervention to protect long-term respiratory health.
