Funeral details concerning the late Janet Potter.

Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family, on Thursday 27th August 2026, at Mossview Care Home, Lochgelly, Janet Potter nee Malcolm, aged 89 years of Lochgelly.

Beloved and cherished wife of the late Joe, much loved sister, treasured auntie and a very dear friend to many more.

You will be sadly missed Janet.

Funeral service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Tuesday 15th September at 12.45pm, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please, however donations if so desired will be gratefully received on leaving the crematorium in aid of Mossview Care Home, Lochgelly.

Heartfelt words from the family of the late William "Hammy" Hamilton.

On behalf of myself, Pat, and my mum we thank you for the care, compassion, kindness and support you have shown us over the past few weeks during the most heartbreaking time of our life. When we said "cheerio" to my Dad on Friday, you made a very sad and often time somber occasion, into a personal tribute that was truly uplifting, humorous and heartfelt.

You provided more than a service, you were part of our family, and we are honored you helped us prepare for that day to say a final farewell "for now".

Friends and work colleagues who knew of my Dad through stories we had told over the years, told us your eulogy made them feel they had known my Dad personally, and everyone who spoke with us commented on your professionalism, integrity and your personal contribution throughout the service. We will be forever thankful you were there for us on my Dad's last journey in this life. God bless ❤️

Funeral details concerning the late Michelle Cameron:

CAMERON

Sadly, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday 18th August 2026, Michelle ‘Chell’ Cameron, aged 40 years of Lochgelly, formerly Cowdenbeath.

Cherished partner of Peter, devoted and loving mum to Kelvin, Carson and Layla, loving daughter of Margaret and the late Willie, dear daughter in law to Gill and Gary, Michelle was like a sister to Steven, Anmaree, Kris and Claire, she was a much loved niece, cousin and a very special friend to many others.

Funeral service will take place at Kirkcaldy Crematorium, on Tuesday 8th September at 11:45am, to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited; family flowers only please, however, donations if so desired can be made in aid of the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

In Michelle's memory, the family have asked that those attending, if possible to wear a touch of purple.

Acknowledgment of Thanks – In Memory of Andrew Muir (Zeke)

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to Andy (Zeke)’s funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Tuesday 25th August. Your support, kindness and presence meant so much to us during an incredibly difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who sent cards, flowers, messages and words of sympathy every gesture has brought comfort.

Our gratitude also goes to Craig Adamson for his beautiful and heartfelt eulogy, and to Torleys Bar Lochgelly and Emma for the lovely catering.

A very special thank you to Angela and the team at John Gilfillan’s Funeral Directors. Angela’s kindness, compassion and genuine care gave our family so much comfort through the loss of our Husband, Dad and Di.

Donations were collected for Victoria Hospice in Andy’s memory, and an amazing £600 was raised. Thank you to everyone who contributed your generosity is deeply appreciated.

Beloved and cherished husband of Annie, loving dad to Johnnie, Billy and Angela, dear father-in-law to Marie, Jackie and Pat, doting di, great di, great great di, much loved brother, uncle, cousin, a very dear friend to many more.

Hammy was a much loved character of Bowhill and beyond and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
