URGENT NOTICE
Lochmaben Medical Group is currently experiencing unexpected IT issues. At the present time we have no access to medical records. Engineers have been notified and we hope for a quick resolution but have no estimated timeframe at present. Please do not contact the practice with routine matters at present as we will not be able to fulfil requests. Urgent medical queries can still be submitted via eConsult, however there may be some delays in response. Thank you for your understanding and we will notify you when the situation is resolved.

🎉 Two Months of Medlink Recall – Thank You!

It's been two months since we introduced our new Medlink Recall System for inviting people for their annual review of chronic disease/HRT/contraception, and we're thrilled with the results!

💙 Together we've achieved:

📋 965 patient records reviewed
📞 376 patients invited for overdue reviews
✅ 327 patients have already completed their review

⭐ 86% overall completion rate so far

✔️ 187 patients were invited for overdue required blood tests

🩸 Our new online blood test booking has also been a great success:

📅 93% of patients chose to book their blood test online themselves in our first month.

A huge thank you to our patients for responding to invitations and helping us keep your care up to date. Regular reviews help us monitor long-term conditions, adjust treatment when needed, and support you to stay as healthy as possible.

And a big well done to our fantastic practice team, whose hard work behind the scenes has made this possible.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient service both at the reception desk and through telephone and email communications. The role involves managing appointments, directing patients to appropriate services, and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout their interaction with the practice.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, processing prescriptions and referrals, managing clinical correspondence, and supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the practice using a range of healthcare and digital systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while working as part of a collaborative team

🎓 On completion you will get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
