Really excited to be adding Myofascial Release into my treatments.
The last couple of years ive become really interested in the Fascia and I finally completed the training up in Glasgow yesterday 🙌

Fascia is like a three dimensional body stocking that weaves its way throughout the entire body without interruption. Like a spiders Web supporting and penetrating all muscle, organ, artery, vein, nerve, bone and right down to cellular level.

In its normal healthy state Fascia is relaxed and has the ability to stretch and move, however if the body experiences any kind of trauma, either through poor postural habits, surgery, accident, physical or emotional trauma, inflammation or scarring the Fascia will lose its pliability and can become hard, stuck and dehydrated. I like to think of it as a sponge, when it is dehydrated its stiff and inflexible but once you rehydrate it it becomes soft and flexible.

MFR is a hands on manual therapy focusing on soft tissue dysfunction, pain, tension and holding patterns. It involves gentle sustained pressure and techniques to allow the Fascia to elongate, release and rehydrate.

A wonderful addition to the "toolkit" that im looking forward to sharing with my clients.

Monday morning spent in the kitchen.

After reading the very long ingredients list on bread the other day I decided I need to make bread at home again, however didn't want to devote quite so much time so found a recipe for no knead bread, gamechanger. Its not as magical as creating a farmhouse sandwich loaf that looks the bees knees but it only takes a few minutes of mixing ingredients, abandoning for 1-2 hours to rise and then cooking in a pot for 40 minutes to get crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, delicious home made bread that does for us. And its simply flour, yeast, salt and water.

This is the third loaf ive made over the last few days and its a really flexible recipe and you can stick it in the fridge after its risen and bake when it's convenient.

I needed to do some other baking today so did everything this morning whilst the oven was on.
Honey and cranberry flapjacks & blueberry and maple syrup muffins are great options for healthier treats. Both super easy and quick.
I did make a ginger loaf yesterday but it was too yummy and there's only one slice left this morning 🙄😂 but hopefully this mornings batch will keep everyone happy until Wednesday.

Work admin is next on today's agenda and then sowing some seeds this afternoon 🌱

Polytunnel prep begins for this seasons growing 🌱

❎️Still need to clean the top
❎️Would be advantageous to start some seeds off

I love growing our own veggies, im not necessarily that great at it but each year I learn a bit more and tending to & nurturing a garden is wonderful for wellbeing 😌
