Sometimes, it's the way you're cared for that stays with you.

For Mrs R, her enhanced breast screening appointment at Welbeck provided reassurance at a time when she was experiencing breast pain and uncertainty.

For the calm environment and lack of queues to having time to ask questions and understand what was happening, she felt listened to and cared for throughout her appointment.

The enhanced breast screening assessment helped provide a clearer picture of her breast health. When she was told there was nothing cancerous or precancerous in her breast, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief.

The experience also gave her the opportunity to explore what else could have been causing her discomfort, helping to provide reassurance beyond the screening itself.

A severe allergic reaction can turn serious within minutes. Knowing the signs, and what to do, can make all the difference.

What to watch out for:
- breathing difficulty
- facial or throat swelling
- a rapid, weak pulse
- dizziness or collapse
- widespread hives

If you live with severe allergy, three steps help keep you safe:
1. Know your triggers, confirmed through allergy testing.
2. Carry two autoinjectors and check the expiry dates regularly.
