IEMT Q&A 28th July 2026 with Matt Kendall

***************

Has anyone had experience of using IEMT for OCD and tics?

***************

I’m seeking some help for a client who has tinnitus and I’m pretty sure it’s related to a past trauma because after that was when it started, my thoughts are use the kinaesthetic pattern as normal while they elect that trauma and see what happens after a few days, if anyone can guide me further I would be open to other suggestions

Also just to note the ringing in his ears increases as stress levels or emotions increase

***************

Are we allowed to work with someone who wants to work on his fear of retiring? (And says he had ptsd many years ago, not now.)

***************

Are we allowed to work with a cancer patient on her fears from the process? ( She had cancer 20 years ago and now it returned).

***************

Can you do IEMT over the phone?

***************

Why do you leave 7 days between sessions?

IEMT Q&A 7th July 2026 with Matt Kendall

**********

How can I support my client after sessions?

**********

I am wondering what happens if you are just doing the demo to show them how it works and they then it opens up to the whole session starting because they have another emotion now about the memory. Do you just go with that instead of just trying to show them it works. Also it may be technically different from the actual problem they came in for and wanted to work on so that’s a bit tricky too. Thanks!

**********

I watched the most recent interview you did with Andy. This question relates to that interview.

Given the importance of people doing IEMT knowing how to respond if there are any medical etc issues that occur with clients, do you think there should be a requirement for those trained in IEMT to have a first aid qualification or some sort of medical response training?

I know the association offers some training. For example: dealing with su***de risks.

But should first aid or medical response training be mandatory in order to practice/work with clients?

**********

I am having trouble with my case studies and making them PDFs and submitting them the way you want. I am not very technical. Help?

**********

What do you do on a client consultation? Is it important to do one?

**********

Where can I hold sessions in person? I don't know where to start.

**********

Yes, do you explain the 3-pillars concept to a client cognitively when working on related feelings of fear, guilt and anger?

**********

How do I work with someone who is so anxious that they can't sit still, close their eyes or follow any instruction?

**********

How can I support my friend who is very anxious after a recent colon cancer diagnosis. She already said she has never been that scared before. She has a tendency to catastrophise.

IEMT Q&A 16th June 2026 with Matt Kendall
-----------
I recently done the test pattern with someone. In her words "nothing changed". No issues with accessing the memory and holding it whilst doing the eye movements. After it comes out that she's an " overthinker" and has up to 6 options for every problem. The memory was of guilt and my assumption is because of a bereavement. Can't confirm but the conversation after the test pattern suggests bereavement. Any ideas to move forward please. This person is only interested in IEMT as she's never heard of it before. Thanks
-----------
As a hypnotherapist and IEMT er, I have a fear of flying client. not just a limiting belief, she had a couple of very bad flights. Would your go to be IEMT, rewind or both?
Very scared on a flight due to past experiences
-----------
What “pain points” are we allowed to talk about in our marketing?
And/or what “benefits” will perspective clients experience?
-----------
How can IEMT help someone with depression?
-----------
Can IEMT help with sports performance?
-----------
Hi Matt, I have a client with lifelong guilt and exhaustion, both present for as long as she can remember. Medical tests found no physical cause for her exhaustion.
After three IEMT sessions on memories, emotions, and identity imprints related to her mother, the guilt has completely resolved. The exhaustion has not and still keeps her on 50% sick leave.
I plan to work on the identity of “I who is always exhausted.” What other options would you consider to tackle the persistent exhaustion when the emotional issue appears resolved?

IEMT Q&A 3rd June with Matt Kendall

-----

Could you please elaborate on POCs, e.g 'what if' or 'may be'. Could you give examples and how to work with it rather than just pointing it out to people

-----

The family panorama. I find it intriguing but time consuming. I have preferred to ask people about the identity of others instead.

-----

Hi, when doing the other pronoun work do we keep it to their own gender pronouns?
I read out the whole list as an example and my female client chose 'him' in reference to her ex husband! I tried it but it didn't seem right so moved onto the visual representation for identity of others to work on him.

-----

How do you with someone with a fear of heights?

-----

Can IEMT help with issues such as IBS?

-----

Is it better to specalise in something or work with everyone?
