AGM CENTRE — HEALTH & WELLBEING NEWS!
Small changes. Better movement. Healthier living.
Hello this is me Antonella Meli and I would like to,
Welcome you to the first AGM Centre
Health & Wellbeing Newsletter.
At AGM Centre, we believe looking after your health isn't simply about dealing with a problem when something goes wrong. It's also about maintaining your feet, movement, strength, balance and overall wellbeing so you can continue doing the things that matter to you.
Each newsletter will bring you practical tips and guidance from the different areas of our practice.
👣 THIS MONTH'S FOOT HEALTH TIP
Don't ignore small changes in your feet
Your feet carry you through thousands of steps, yet they are often one of the last parts of the body we think about.
Take a few minutes regularly to check your feet. Look for changes such as persistent areas of hard skin, corns, changes to the nails, redness, swelling, discomfort or changes in the skin.
A simple AGM Centre tip:After washing, dry carefully — particularly between the toes — and moisturise dry skin on the feet, avoiding putting moisturiser between the toes.
And remember: foot pain shouldn't simply become something you learn to live with.
If something has changed or is causing you concern, seek appropriate professional advice.
🌿 AYURVEDA CORNER
Create a little more routine in your day
Ayurveda places considerable importance on our daily routine.
Modern life can make our days extremely irregular — eating at different times, rushing between commitments, sitting for long periods and not giving ourselves sufficient time to rest.
You don't have to change everything at once.
Start with something small: establish a more consistent morning routine, make time for regular meals, include appropriate daily movement and create a calmer transition towards bedtime.
This month's thought:Good health is often built through the small things we do consistently.
Our Ayurveda practice offers an individual approach to supporting health and wellbeing based on traditional Ayurvedic principles.
🚶 MOBILITY, BALANCE & FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Are you maintaining your movement — or slowly losing it?
Getting older does not mean that we should simply accept becoming weaker and less mobile.
Strength, balance, coordination and everyday movement all matter — whether that's getting out of a chair comfortably, walking with greater confidence, climbing stairs, getting down to the floor, carrying shopping or simply continuing to live independently.
The important thing is to keep moving and keep challenging your body appropriately.
Try this simple question:
What can you do comfortably today that you want to still be able to do in 5, 10 or 20 years?
That is what functional fitness is really about.
⭐ JOIN OUR 100-DAY HEALTH CHALLENGE
What could change if you gave your health a little attention every day for the next 100 days?
We are introducing the AGM Centre 100-Day Health Challenge — encouraging you to make small, achievable improvements to your health and movement.
Your challenge doesn't need to be extreme.
It could mean walking more regularly, improving your balance, building strength, drinking enough water, creating a better daily routine, looking after your feet, improving your mobility or simply committing to doing something positive for yourself every day.
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is consistency.
Over the 100 days, we want to encourage you to notice the small improvements that can easily be overlooked.
Day 1 doesn't have to be impressive. It just has to begin.
If you'd like to take part, join our 100-Day Health Challenge and make the next 100 days count.
