Living longer is one thing. Living well for longer is another.

Our co-founder Dr Claire Merrifield recently sat down with Muddy Stilettos to talk about healthspan - the years of our lives spent in good health - and why it's something worth thinking about long before we reach old age.

The good news? Looking after your future health doesn't have to mean overhauling your life.

Claire talks about the fundamentals that matter, the role preventative health can play, and why sometimes the most important thing you can do for your health is simply make it a priority.

We've shared a couple of her thoughts here.

So, this feels a bit pinch me... 🧡

Selph has been selected as a 2026 Health Trailblazer.

The Trailblazers Programme, from and , celebrates businesses driving innovation, growth and positive change - and we're very proud to be among this year's cohort.

Selph started as an idea born from frustration. A belief that healthcare could do more to help people stay healthy, not just treat illness once it arrives.

Since then, we've navigated pivots, pandemics, parenthood and plenty of unexpected twists.

This week, Claire joined our fellow Health Trailblazers in London to talk about what it takes to build and scale a health business - and where healthcare might go next.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of the journey so far. And to WIRED and HSBC UK for recognising what we're building.

Free PSA Tests For Men 50+

Subaru & Selph have teamed up to make it easier for more men to understand their prostate health.

Men aged 50+ can now pick up a Selph at-home PSA blood test from participating Subaru dealerships across the UK - completely free, courtesy of Subaru. The same test would usually cost £59.

Simply pick one up, take the finger-prick test at home and pop it in the post. Your confidential results come with a report from a Selph doctor explaining what they mean and what, if anything, to do next.

A PSA test can't diagnose prostate cancer on its own, but it can help identify men who may benefit from further investigation.

So if you're over 50 - or there's a dad, partner, brother or friend in your life who is - pop into your nearest Subaru dealership and pick one up while stocks last.

And no, you don't need to own a Subaru.

“I thought my periods were just irregular…”🤔
But for some people, the real cause is coeliac disease.

The signs aren’t always obvious - and they’re not always digestive. Anaemia. Hormonal changes. Skin rash. Subtle symptoms that don’t seem connected.

Coeliac disease affects around 1 in 100 people - and only 10-20% of cases are ever diagnosed.

A simple blood test can help provide answers and a clearer path forward. 💡

Ours is just £63, done from home, and analysed by the same standard of laboratory used in the NHS - with a doctor-reviewed result to help you understand what it means.

Awareness is important - but clarity changes everything 😉
