The ADHD Collective

The ADHD Collective Supporting adults with ADHD and AuDHD Only then can we start to harness the strengths that each of our different brains possess.

A social enterprise supporting adults with ADHD
We provide our members with all the non-medical support that adults with ADHD need:
knowledge, understanding, community, accountability, on-demand resources, strategies and tools. Wherever we are on our journey, diagnosed or not, living with ADHD can feel isolating, frustrating and incredibly difficult. That’s why we are here – to help you thoroughly understand the condition, accept it, and minimise the impacts on your life.

Did you know...?

Holding a pencil horizontally between your teeth (without letting your lips touch it) for 30 seconds forces your face into a smile by activating the zygomaticus muscles.

This tricks your brain into feeling happier and triggers a "fake it 'til you make it" reaction, releasing dopamine and serotonin.

Go on, try it now!

*New Year Declutter Urges?*

Decluttering is tough in this house, because we are all very visual. And we have too much stuff.

I'm so late posting today, Collective, because my husband and I decided yesterday (oh yes...New Year's Day) that we should clear out my office / the study. Which houses 20 years' worth of hoarded books, cards, notepads, craft materials and even CDs!

I'm hard at it, even on Day 2 at 8:30pm, and progress is slow but real. However 2-3 other rooms of the house are now housing 20 years' worth of [edited and boxed up] hoarded books, cards, notepads, craft materials and even CDs! It's spreading! Lol.

I'm trying to be proud though, because I have 3 bins bags of recycling and waste and two big charity boxes. Now it just remains for them to actually LEAVE...

Will I be ready for Monday?
Has the New Year Declutter Urge hit you, yet?!

Lucy xx

Happy New Year from The ADHD Collective

We’re looking into the new year and we want to remind you of this:

It’s really just one day turning into another day, and you don’t need to reinvent yourself to be worthy of recognition, support, progress or care.

We know that the likelihood is that your 2025 was tough and exhausting at times, even if it was peppered with some good bits - all the usual stuff of life.

But as well as being human, we are living with ADHD (either with loved ones or ourselves, or both), which means we've got a lot more to manage, have a lot more going on, and we’ve worked a lot harder than most, just to get through.

Because we feel it too, you know there's always space in The ADHD Collective to vent and offload with others that 'get it'.

Cheers! Michelle (r) & Lucy (l)
