🏆 Congratulations to Melissa James, Tissue Viability Lead, who has won the Dr Isabel Gal Award for Patient Safety at the gesh CARE Awards 2026!

Mel was recognised for her outstanding leadership in improving patient safety across our community services. By working collaboratively with clinicians and stakeholders, she led a quality improvement programme that transformed wound assessment processes, helping improve audit compliance, strengthen preventative care and support earlier identification of patients at risk.

Sutton Health and Care’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service has become the first service in South West London to achieve PRSAS accreditation.

Our team supports people with respiratory conditions through personalised exercise programmes, education and self-management advice, helping patients live healthier, more independent lives.

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Scheme (PRSAS) recognises the quality of care we provide and our commitment to continuous improvement for the benefit of local residents in Sutton.

Bookings for this year’s flu vaccine are now open for those who are eligible.

Flu can be very serious for children, pregnant women, older adults, and those with long-term health conditions 🤧

Last year, it was estimated that the flu vaccine prevented 104,000 unnecessary hospitalisations.

Appointments are now available - if you’re eligible, you can now book your flu vaccination online or through the NHS App.
