I felt psychologically safe in this moment
Because
✅ I was surrounded by people who listened to each other without prejudice.
✅Each person respected new perspectives through curiosity and contemplation.
✅It was a conducive working environment that had the expansiveness to tolerate differences.
We ALL played a part to create the safety
AND
The impact of that safety was profound:
I adjusted my surroundings to make it more accessible and to me (H&S folk i know, I know!)
Safety isn’t just a feeling—it’s a foundation for (pardon the pun!) growth, confidence, and self-belief.
When we create safe spaces for ourselves and others, we open the door to transformation, understanding and fresh insight💡
Have you ever experienced a moment of safety that changed everything?
I’d love to hear how it impacted you in the comments ⬇️
Image description: Three people stand in a bright office space, engaged in conversation. Mamta, a South Asian petit woman on the right stands on a chair, wearing a white blazer and black trousers, smiling confidently. There are two white men beside her, one in a denim shirt and the other in a white shirt with a rainbow lanyard, listen with interest. The setting includes desks, chairs, and papers, from a workshop that Mamta is facilitating.
