Going greener and cleaner!

We're replacing old gas boilers with cleaner, more efficient electric heat pumps across a number of our leisure centres.

That means more comfortable spaces to work out, swim and spend your leisure time, while reducing pollution and helping protect the leisure centres for future generations.

Good for your workout. Better for the planet.

A greener future starts today.

Our decarbonisation project is set to save 28,000 tonnes of CO₂.

That's the equivalent of taking more than 18,000 cars off the road for an entire year.

Together, we're creating greener leisure centres, healthier communities and a more sustainable future.

The work will be taking place at:
• Surrey Docks Fitness & Watersports Centre
• The Castle Leisure Centre
• Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre
• Dulwich Leisure Centre
• Camberwell Leisure Centre

All five leisure centres will remain open while the improvements are carried out. There may be some short-term closures or temporary disruptions to ensure the work can be completed safely, and we'll keep you updated every step of the way.
