"As a business owner, you have to be able to pivot quickly. You can try new stuff, but if it doesn’t work, you’ve got to recognise that it doesn’t work, and then be able to change it," says Sarah Gibson, optometrist and owner of Wincanton’s award-winning SG Eyecare.

Sarah shared with us what a day in her practice looks like – from hitting the snooze button to evenings spent managing the sound for her partner’s rock band.

"My domiciliary work is focused within my local community. That local community feeling, for me, really reinforces that. Whenever I go and see my patients, I’ll bring them their favourite biscuits. It’s bringing back that old school community that I grew up on," says Jas.
