This chapter can be yours too. 💙

For years, so much of your time, energy and identity may have been wrapped up in being Mum.

Then the children grow up, become more independent or leave home, and suddenly there’s space you weren’t quite prepared for.

It can feel emotional. It can feel unfamiliar. But that space can also become an opportunity to reconnect with you.

The hobbies you put down. The friendships you want to nurture. The places you want to visit. The goals you still have. Or simply having more time to rest and enjoy your own company.

You can miss the chapter that’s changing while still feeling excited about the one ahead.

So, what would you like this next chapter to include? Tell me below.

Finding it hard to switch off? 💙

Menopause can affect so many parts of your wellbeing, from sleep and stress to feeling like your mind simply won’t slow down.

That’s why I created Menopause Meditations, to give women a simple and accessible way to pause, breathe and find a little calm when they need it.

Whether it’s part of your morning, before bed or just ten minutes during a difficult day, the app is there to give you that space for yourself.

Simple. Private. There when you need it.

Ready to try it for yourself? Download Menopause Meditations via the link in bio.

Does September suddenly feel like a lot? 💙

The return to routine can bring earlier mornings, busier schedules, more organising and a mental load that seems to grow overnight.

When you’re navigating menopause too, symptoms like poor sleep, fatigue, brain fog and feeling overwhelmed can make that transition feel even harder.

If you’ve noticed things feeling a little more difficult since September began, there may be a reason why.

In my latest article, I explore why menopause symptoms can feel more challenging when school starts again, plus some simple ways to make the transition feel more manageable.

Read the full article via the link in bio.

And I’d love to know, do you find September a difficult month for getting back into routine?

Would you feel comfortable telling someone at work that menopause was affecting you?

For some women, the hardest part isn’t knowing they need support. It’s wondering how the conversation will be received.

Will I be taken seriously?
Will they understand?
Will it affect how I’m seen at work?

A supportive workplace should make it easier to speak up, ask for help and have an open conversation without judgement.

What would make you feel safer talking about menopause at work? Tell me in the comments.

Would you feel comfortable telling your manager that menopause was affecting you at work?

For many women, knowing support exists isn't the same as feeling safe enough to ask for it.

We need workplaces where menopause can be talked about openly, without embarrassment or judgement, and where women have practical tools to support themselves too.

Does your workplace make you feel supported? Tell me below

A better night’s sleep can change how the whole next day feels. 💙

So hearing that our guided meditation helped Belinder relax and drift off more easily means a lot.

A little reminder that sometimes slowing down is exactly what we need.

Your body isn’t working against you. It may be asking you to pay attention.

Fatigue, poor sleep, feeling overwhelmed, difficulty concentrating and increased anxiety can all be experienced during perimenopause and menopause, and they can have a real impact on everyday life.

Understanding what’s happening is an important first step. From there, you can start finding the support and tools that work for you.

Which of these have you found the hardest to manage?

Menopause doesn’t just affect the person experiencing it — it can impact relationships, communication and everyday life.

For many partners, the challenge isn’t a lack of care. It’s not always knowing what to say, how to help or how to understand what someone is going through.

Support can start with simple things:

Listening without judgement
Creating a safe space to talk
Taking time to understand the changes happening
Asking “How can I support you?” rather than trying to fix everything

Menopause is more than hot flushes. It can affect confidence, emotions, sleep, energy and how someone feels about themselves.

The people around us play an important role in helping us feel supported, understood and less alone through this transition.

Small changes in how we communicate can make a big difference.

If you're looking to better support your partner, your team or your organisation, I'd love to help. Feel free to send me a message to find out more about my menopause wellbeing workshops and resources.
