Did you know that last year, we celebrated 10 years of the iconic St Thomas' Abseil?

Join us this year for the 11th St Thomas' Abseil and take the 160 feet plunge down the front of St Thomas' Hospital.

You will experience the thrill of a lifetime at this adrenaline-filled event and enjoy a bird’s eye view of some of London's most famous landmarks!

This week we're cheering on David Boyce, who's lacing up his boots again this year to take on Glyndŵr's Way in Mid Wales. Five days, 75 miles, from Knighton to Machynlleth through some of the most remote and scenic landscapes.

Following on from last year's walk along Offa's D**e, David's tackling this challenge to raise funds for the ECMO team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, whose work supports families facing critical illness.

Some of the most vulnerable patients cared for by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust are experiencing homelessness - facing significant barriers to both healthcare and support.

That’s why we help fund the specialist Homeless Health Team – a dedicated group making sure everyone gets the care they deserve, no matter their circumstances.

Thanks to donations, we've also supported the launch of the Homeless Patients Legal Advocacy Service, in partnership with Southwark Law Centre. This pioneering service offers legal advice, housing support, and healthcare advocacy all in one place, helping people navigate incredibly complex challenges.

Meet Will!

In 2024, Will joined our fearless team of Guy's and St Thomas' Charity fundraisers and abseiled down the front of St Thomas’ Hospital.

Will said, “It was a wonderful experience… such a positive vibe and lots of energy at the top. Everybody was so supportive.” After years away from getting into a harness, he said he couldn’t wait to sign up to do it all over again!
