Here's what to avoid:
▪ MISTAKE 1 — Leaving bottles in direct sunlight
UV rays degrade both flavourings and the liquid itself faster than almost any other factor. Windowsills, desks near windows, and cars are the most common culprits.
▪ MISTAKE 2 — Storing in hot places
On top of your laptop, next to a radiator, or in a warm car — all of these speed up the ageing process and reduce the quality of your liquid.
▪ MISTAKE 3 — Not sealing the bottle after use
Oxygen exposure causes gradual oxidation that weakens flavour and potency over time. Always close the cap tightly after every use.
