Excelcare

Excelcare Excelcare supports over 2,500 people, delivering care that is as individual as the people we care for

Excelcare was proudly established in 1989 as a family-run business. We are still family-run to this day, and instill our family values onto our colleagues, the people we care for, their relatives and friends. As an Excelcare-family, we care for each other, offering support, openness and honesty not only to each other but also to the people who live in our care home and their extended family. We welcome each individual to become part of our family, and each treat each person with dignity and respect, regardless of their age, background or beliefs. We provide high quality, person-centred care at 32 individual and unique care homes situated in Cambridge, Essex, London and Milton Keynes. We also operate a home care service which is based in London.

This week we've loved having Bailey, our COO Sam's daughter, with us for her work experience!

Bailey hosted her very own fashion show, inspired by the iconic styles and trends the residents at Park Avenue Care Home wore during their younger years. 👗✨

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, memories, and plenty of smiles, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the chance to celebrate fashion through the decades.

A huge well done to Bailey for all her hard work and creativity, you did an amazing job! ❤️

Ahead of her fashion show at Park Avenue Care Home tomorrow, Bailey visited local shops this morning to find clothes that match the outfits residents wore in their younger years.

Accompanied by Maddie, Lexie and Leyla, she toured department stores and charity shops in search of fashion pieces that will bring residents' stories to life.

Although many of the outfits people spoke about were from the '60s and '70s, Bailey quickly realised that many of the styles from those times are back in fashion today!

A huge thank you to Rachel from iDesign Interiors for her generous support in donating a £100 Love2Shop voucher, allowing Bailey to get exactly what she was looking for.

Keep an eye on our page tomorrow as Bailey's looks come to life at her fashion show! 👗✨

Bailey’s Fashion Show 👠👝

Bailey Manning, the daughter of Excelcare’s Chief Operating Officer, is taking part in work experience at our Support Office this week.

As part of a four-day project, Bailey is planning a special fashion show for the people who live at Park Avenue Care Home in collaboration with our Communications, Engagement, and Marketing Team.

Bailey visited the care home yesterday to speak with residents and learn about the outfits they wore during their younger years. Now, she will be recreating residents’ iconic looks and hosting a fashion show at the care home on Thursday – celebrating what some call ‘the most memorable fashion eras’.

Keep an eye on our page for updates throughout the week👗👢

🏃‍♀️💗 And they’re off! 💗🏃‍♂️

Today, our incredible team of 36 Excelcare colleagues, along with friends and family, are taking on the Pretty Muddy challenge in support of Cancer Research UK.

From climbing obstacles to crawling through mud, every step they take today is helping to raise vital funds for two amazing causes. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who has stepped up to be part of this challenge!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated and sent messages of support.

Your generosity has helped us reach an amazing £2,065 so far—and thanks to the incredible generosity of our CEO Osman Ertosun, the final amount raised will be doubled.

There’s still time to make a difference! If you’ve been meaning to donate, this is your final chance to help us push our total even higher. Every pound counts and will have twice the impact.

Great news! Every donation made will be doubled by our generous CEO, Ozzie, meaning your contribution will go twice as far in supporting this incredible cause!

So please dig deep, donate what you can, and help us make an even bigger impact. Your support will also give the Excelcare team the encouragement we'll need as we take on Pretty Muddy 2026, we have a feeling we're going to need it!

The Excelcare Family is proud to be taking part in this year's Pretty Muddy 5K at Beckenham Place Park on 11th July in support of Cancer Research UK and the Excelcare Foundation. We'll be walking, jogging, running, climbing, and getting thoroughly muddy in support of vital cancer research. It's a wonderful team effort that brings us together while making a meaningful impact. Across our homes and offices, we have seen first-hand the impact that cancer can have on individuals, families, friends, and colleagues. We have supported team members through the challenges that a cancer diagnosis can bring and understand how profoundly it can affect lives. By taking part in Pretty Muddy again this year, we hope to raise vital funds to support Cancer Research UK's ground breaking work in improving treatments, saving lives, and helping to beat cancer.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated. Please take a moment to visit our fundraiser and consider contributing to this important cause. With Ozzie matching every donation, your generosity will have double the impact.

As Pride Month 🌈 comes to a end, we're looking back at some of the wonderful moments shared across our care homes.

Throughout June, residents, teams, families, and local communities came together to celebrate love, inclusion, and individuality. From colourful events and creative activities to moments of laughter and connection.

At Excelcare, we're proud to create environments where everyone feels welcome, valued, and free to be themselves, not just during Pride Month, but every day.

Here's a look back at some of our favourite moments. 💙🌈

💚 Residents, colleagues and families from our Bromley and surrounding care homes are helping to protect a much-loved local farm that has brought joy to our community for many years. 💚

At Excelcare, we are proud to care for people across Bromley through our local homes, including Park Avenue Care Home and Peartree Care Home. Over the years, many of our residents, colleagues and their families have visited the Christmas Tree Farm with children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories and enjoying time with the animals.

That's why we were deeply saddened to hear that the farm is facing significant challenges, including the recent theft of seven baby goats. This heart-breaking incident comes at a time when the farm is already experiencing financial difficulties, making community support more important than ever.

Residents have always spoken fondly of the farm and so we want to do something to help protect a place that has brought joy to so many local families over the years.

In response, we have created a JustGiving page to support the farm during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help them continue caring for their animals and remain a valued part of our community.

👉 Donate here:

Please consider donating and sharing this post with friends, family and local community groups.

Together, we can help support a place that has created so many special memories and ensure it remains part of Bromley for years to come.

Thank you for your kindness and support. 💚🐐

Members of the Excelcare Family gathered at the beautiful Braxted Park Estate on Friday 19th June for the annual Shining Star Awards.

The awards celebrate both individual and team achievements across Excelcare and Guildmore, recognising those who have gone above and beyond to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Dressed to match the elegant black and gold 'Great Gatsby' theme, guests gathered in The Pavilion for Excelcare's awards ceremony. Highlights included heartfelt speeches from the Regional Operations Directors, who paid tribute to award winners from their regions, as well as the presentation of this year's Mr Bailey Awards by Excelcare's Chief Operating Officer, Sam Manning.

These prestigious awards recognise people who truly embody Excelcare's values by going above and beyond to ensure residents receive the very best person-centred care. They also celebrate individuals who never settle for 'good', continually striving to improve and learn, even when delivering outstanding care. Each of this year's winners exemplifies these qualities.
