London Hearts

London Hearts London Hearts is a registered charity (1180901) We aim to provide defibrillators throughout the UK.

Less than one in ten people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest. We believe that the widespread availability of defibrillators, and the more people willing and able to use them, the better out of hospital cardiac arrest patients outcomes will be. London Hearts provides charitable grants and fundraising support to help communities and organisations obtain a a defibrillator, as well as CPR tra

ining awareness sessions, so that anyone can learn how to save a life. We are working towards a future where nobody is further than 100m away from one of these lifesaving devices, wherever they are in the UK. To find out more about our work or to donate, please visit www.londonhearts.org

A lovely example of funding helping lifesaving equipment reach the heart of a community 🙌❤️

Whitton Baptist Church has a 24-hour accessible defibrillator, with funding from London Hearts and the William Grant Foundation.

For publicly accessible defibrillators, registering the device with The Circuit helps ambulance services know where it is and whether it’s available for use.

💙 The Real-Life Dream Team! 💙

Bloxwich Community Partnership has been working hard to place lifesaving defibrillators in strategic locations throughout Bloxwich, Blakenall and the surrounding areas, with the fantastic support of Steve Podmore.

Steve also plays a vital role within community by providing CPR training sessions, helping local people gain the confidence and skills to respond in an emergency. ❤️

Another community with lifesaving equipment close at hand 🏡💚

Once a defibrillator is installed, it’s important that residents know where it is and that someone regularly checks the device, battery status and electrode pad expiry dates.

A few simple checks can help make sure it is ready when every second matters.
