Yesterday we were at Southend Rugby Club enjoying their awards day for the youth section.

Whilst there, we presented the club’s representatives with vital life saving equipment , a new defibrillator that will be used pitch side home and away next season.

Also present supporting the event was MP for Southend East and Rochford Bayo Alaba MP

Good news - we've fitted a life-saving defibrillator to a property in Alexandra Park ❤️‍🩹

And a special thank you goes to Cllr Diane Archer, who has generously let us attach it to the side of her house.

A special thanks also to charity London Hearts, who helped us with the funding, and to Wroughton Electrical, who installed it for us for free.

We hope that nobody ever has to use this defibrillator. But if they do, the instructions are clearly written on the front of the unit. Just dial 999 for the access code, and they will talk you through it.

The unit is located on the side of 47 Whittigham Drive, adjacent to the footpath. A new Bleed Kit has also been installed.

Another Defibrillator Installed in Corfe Mullen 💚

We’re pleased to share that a new defibrillator is now installed and fully operational at The Lambs Green Inn – helping to keep our community safe.

This life-saving equipment has been made possible through partnership working with The Lambs Green Inn, showing how working together can make a real difference locally.

Defibrillators are vital in emergencies and can greatly increase the chances of survival during a cardiac arrest. Knowing where your nearest one is could help save a life.
