Our gnomes have gone on their summer holidays! ☀️🧳🌻

While our gnomes are taking a well-earned break, caring never stops. A huge thank you to our amazing team, who continue to work tirelessly throughout the ongoing heatwave to keep our clients safe, comfortable, and well hydrated. 💙

If you have little ones with you over the summer holidays and think you can't pop in for a chat, please don't let that stop you. We're always stocked with crayons, colouring activities, and a few sweet treats to help keep children entertained while you visit. 🎨🍬

On Wednesday 15th July, we hosted our first Big Green Picnic in support of our charity partner, Dementia Adventure. It was fantastic to bring our clients and the community together to raise awareness of the positive impact that getting outdoors can have for people living with dementia.

A huge thank you to Rokewood Court Care Home for hosting us in their beautiful gardens and providing delicious refreshments, The Surrey Pianist for the wonderful entertainment, Knights Garden Centres Woldingham for supporting our sensory gardening activity, and to Rawlings Opticians & Hearing Care Caterham, Easy Life Care & Mobility , and Pinks Funeral Directors for donating fantastic raffle prizes.

From tomorrow, we're excited to be taking part in the Caterham Valley For You History Trail! 🎉

Why not explore Caterham Valley this summer and see how many hidden local artefacts you can discover? Simply pick up your FREE trail sheet from the East Surrey Museum, the Post Office, or Caterham Valley Library, then set off on your adventure!

Running until 31 August, the trail takes you around 20 businesses across Caterham Valley, including our office. We can't wait to welcome you!

A huge thank you to Whyteleafe Park Pavilion for inviting us along to their wonderful Dementia Café today! 💙

Held on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:30am–12:00pm, it's a fantastic opportunity for people living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers to come together in a warm and welcoming environment.

A great morning was had by everyone who attended. It wasn't just tea and cake either! ☕🍰 Attendees enjoyed a fantastic ceramics painting session provided by Moonstone Ceramics, were entertained by the talented The Funky Fiddler on the violin 🎻, and got moving with a fun seated yoga session led by Yoga Serenity. 🧘‍♀️
