STOP. What if joy didn’t need a reason?
This past week at , I played with that question… and wow. ✨
Exquisite in every respect: friendship, deep connection, sunshine, sea, and of course — incredible food!
My intention was simple: be fully in every moment.
And because it feels like I’ve been away for weeks (not just six days!)… I’d say mission accomplished.
My new book PlayFreely®️ shares what happened to me nearly thirteen years ago that changed everything — a shift into presence, love, and a life that feels rich from the inside out. Through stories of transformation, it reveals what we can understand to live fully… even when things don’t go the way we want them to.
This week I set a little joy experiment:
How much bliss could I be in… and not try to give it away?
Not selfish. Just true. Because peace, love and wisdom is who we are.
But often, the second we glimpse our true nature, we rush off to find more — courses, programs, visibility, tweaking our online selves. Instead of simply basking in the brilliance already within us.
None of that is right or wrong. There are times we’re naturally drawn to all of it. But what I’m pointing to goes far beyond self-improvement — it wakes us up, slows us down to simply be ourselves… to be still, in awe of existence, and to relish the beauty of nature. No comparing, no judging, no jealousy — just a quiet knowing of our own magnificence as human life.
On Monday I upped the ante, inviting even more awareness and presence into my day — and love just kept giving. Funny that. A space where there is no shortage.
Thank you for reading my VIVA reflections.
