When you’re referred for a scan, knowing you’re in safe hands can make all the difference.

In this video, Dr Diana Holdright, Consultant Cardiologist, talks about how Queen Square Imaging Centre supports both patients and the clinicians who refer them.

From the moment a referral is received, our focus is on providing a smooth experience, clear communication and high-quality specialist imaging, while keeping the referring clinician informed throughout.

We believe patients benefit most when healthcare teams work together.

If you’ve been referred for specialist imaging, what helped you feel most supported during the process?

An MRI scan is only one part of the diagnostic pathway. Equally important is the expertise behind its interpretation.

In this video, Dr Simon Farmer, Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, explains what makes Queen Square Imaging Centre different.

Working in close collaboration with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, our specialist radiologists and neurologists understand the complexity of neurological conditions and the clinical questions that imaging is being asked to answer.

That close partnership supports accurate diagnosis, informed clinical decision-making and high-quality patient care.

For referring clinicians managing complex neurological conditions, specialist expertise can make an important difference.

If you are living with ongoing neck, back or leg pain, finding the exact cause is not always straightforward.

CT-guided injections are used when imaging alone cannot clearly identify the source of pain.

Using real-time CT imaging, a specialist radiologist guides an injection directly to the nerve or joint suspected to be causing symptoms.

At Queen Square Imaging Centre, these procedures are carried out by expert neuroradiology consultants using high-quality CT guidance.

This allows medication to be delivered precisely where it is needed, helping to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and in many cases avoid more invasive treatment.

CT-guided injections can also support diagnosis. Temporarily numbing a specific nerve can help confirm whether it is responsible for symptoms, enabling a clearer and more informed treatment plan.

Our team works closely with your consultant to support a personalised approach to pain management.

Find out whether a CT-guided injection could be appropriate for you by speaking to your consultant or visiting our website.
