Question from customer :

Hi please could you advise what are the best products to take for demodex brevis?
I have it deep in my scalp and then get the itching crawling at night. I don't have any on my face.

Answer from adviser :

To treat Demodex mites from your scalp, we advice to use both: Tan Geili soap and Kuizun shampoo. You need to use those products at least twice/ 24 hours (morning and evening wash). On dump hair please apply Tan Geili soap, massage your scalp, leave for 5 minutes and rinse. Then use Kuizun shampoo in the same way. The treatment should be continued for at least 3 months (no less then that), sometimes it
might take a bit longer.
If your symptoms won’t change after one month, then you need to add XFML cream or ZZ ointment for overnight.

Did you know ?
Demodicosis is often confused with other skin conditions and therefore frequently left undiagnosed and not properly treated. This is a problem since the deteriorating skin condition can lead to the formation of large bacterial infections and other chronic skin diseases.

Both Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis are typically found on the human face. Demodex folliculorum resides in hair follicles, whereas Demodex brevis survives in sebaceous glands adjacent to hair follicles. For instance, around the eye area, Demodex folliculorum is found in the follicles of the eyelashes. In contrast, Demodex brevis inhabits the sebaceous gland of the eyelashes and the meibomian glands. Demodex brevis was first separated from Demodex folliculorum in 1963 by Akbulatova.

Demodex folliculorum was first described by Berger in 1841 and demodex Brevis was found in the human skin in 1963.
