Struggling to keep a routine that never stays the same? 😴

Advice that expects you to sleep at 10pm, eat at 6 and exercise after work was written around a day that starts at 9 and ends at 5. When your shifts rotate, your body clock resets every few days, and a plan built on stability has nothing solid to stand on. 🌙
A skipped workout after a night shift is a body asking for rest. A meal at 3am is a body asking for fuel. Both are your body working sensibly with the hours it was given. 💪
Wellbeing that fits shift work starts from your hours. MyShiftPlanner and Arvra are building support around exactly that. 🤝
Which piece of advice has never once fit your rota? Tell us below 👇

It was never a discipline problem. 🚫
Eating late. Skipping a workout. Struggling to wind down. Easy to read all of that as a lack of willpower, especially when the advice around you keeps implying exactly that. 📣
But shift patterns change the context in which those things actually happen. A meal at 3am isn’t a lapse, it’s just when your body needs fuel. Skipping a workout after a night shift isn’t laziness, it’s running on borrowed sleep. 😴 Same behaviour, completely different circumstances behind it.
That’s not you failing to try hard enough. That’s a body doing its best with a schedule most advice was never built for.
MyShiftPlanner and Arvra are building support that starts from your actual circumstances, not a generic idea of discipline. 🤝
Myth vs reality. This one’s worth getting right. ✅

Thread the Needle is one of those simple Pilates movements that can feel so good after a long day at a desk.
It works through thoracic rotation while gently opening the shoulders and upper back helping counter some of the stiffness that can come from sitting and screen time.
Try adding a few slow reps into your day, focusing on your breath and moving through a comfortable range.
✨ Move slowly
✨ Keep your breath flowing
✨ Let your upper back rotate rather than forcing the movement
Small moments of movement really do add up.
Save this one for your next movement break. 🧘‍♀️

Why are we giving shift workers advice written for people who sleep at night? 🌙
Sleep at 10pm. Eat three meals between 8am and 8pm. Exercise after work. Good advice, if your day looks anything like that. 😴
If it starts at 7pm and ends at 6am, none of it quite fits. You’ve probably felt that gap without ever putting words to it, advice that’s technically correct and somehow still useless for your actual life. 🤷
That’s not you doing something wrong. That’s advice built without you in the room.
MyShiftPlanner and Arvra have come together to build support around the hours you actually work, not the ones everyone assumes. 🙌

Wellbeing programmes usually get designed in a boardroom, by people who’ve never worked a night shift in their life. 🏢
That’s not the case here.
MyShiftPlanner has spent over a decade inside the reality of shift work, understanding rotas, patterns, the chaos of a schedule that never looks the same two weeks running. Arvra brings years of real, specialist wellbeing expertise, and a genuine understanding of recovery, resilience and what actually helps a body under pressure. 💪
Two different kinds of deep knowledge, combined, before a single piece of advice gets written. 🤝
That’s what makes this different. Two teams who’ve each spent years learning their half of this problem, finally building the answer side by side. ✨
You’ve spent years working around advice that wasn’t built with people like you in mind. This time, it actually was.
