Last week, we came together in Manchester for Advinia Healthcare’s Annual Conference, welcoming our Heads of Departments and Home Managers for two inspiring days of collaboration, reflection, and celebration.

Across the conference, teams shared the incredible successes achieved over the past year, alongside exciting plans and ambitions for the months ahead. We were also honoured to hear from guest speaker Steve Judge, whose powerful talk on setting goals and turning them into reality left a lasting impact on everyone in the room.

A special thank you to Dr Sanjeev Kanoria and Sangita Kanoria for sharing the story behind Advinia — reflecting on the journey, values, and people that have helped shape the organisation we are today.

The event concluded with a wonderful gala dinner and awards ceremony, recognising the achievements of our homes and the incredible teams behind them. Congratulations to all of our winners and nominees. From dancing to karaoke, it was a fantastic way to celebrate the passion, dedication, and spirit that runs throughout Advinia.

A truly unforgettable “Day to Remember” at Advinia - Burrswood Care Home

At 85 years young, resident Patricia Coote recently reunited with a lifelong passion, horse riding, thanks to our B Happie “A Day to Remember” initiative.

Accompanied by her sons and our wellbeing team, Patricia enjoyed a very special visit to Phoenix RDA in Burnley, where she rode a gentle horse named Tom before celebrating the day with a lovely family meal.

Seeing Patricia reconnect with such treasured memories was incredibly moving and a wonderful reminder of the power of meaningful experiences and person-centred care.

It’s never too late to relive the things that bring us joy.

From sunshine to sore feet, it was the atmosphere, support, and camaraderie that carried everyone across the finish line.

A great day bringing teams together to connect, collaborate and plan for what’s ahead.

We had the opportunity to visit Connect Studio, meet Advinia’s dedicated call handling team, and explore some fantastic spaces including Imagination Street, the media lounge and function facilities.

From sharing ideas in the boardroom to discussing key priorities, the day was full of energy, insight, and forward-thinking conversations.

Most importantly, it was a chance to strengthen collaboration, build relationships, and shape some exciting initiatives for the year ahead.
