Inspiring the next generation at Oxford Manor Care Home - Advinia Health Care
We’re incredibly proud to see Oxford Manor featured in Oxfordshire Living, following a wonderful work experience placement with students from Didcot Girls’ School.

From spending time with residents and joining activities to learning about the compassion, patience and teamwork behind a career in care, the students had the opportunity to see first-hand just how rewarding the sector can be.

A huge well done to the Oxford Manor team for sharing their knowledge, creating such a welcoming experience and helping inspire a new generation to consider a future in care.

It was fantastic to welcome Johnny Hazel from Checkmate to one of our homes, where he spent time with our chefs and housekeeping teams, listening to their experiences and gathering valuable feedback on how the system supports them every day.

We were delighted to host Advinia Scotland's very first Housekeeping Forum, bringing together housekeeping colleagues from across our homes to share best practice, discuss challenges, and explore new ways to enhance the experience of our residents.

The day provided a fantastic opportunity for teams to connect, learn from one another, and hear valuable insights from our partners at Blueleaf Care. We were also pleased to welcome Bradley Edwards, CEO Scotland, who joined colleagues to hear first-hand about the vital role housekeeping teams play in creating safe, comfortable, and welcoming homes.

Our housekeeping colleagues are often the unsung heroes of care homes, and this forum was a celebration of their dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Day to Remember at Hammerwich Hall Care Home

As part of our B Happie "Day to Remember" initiative, Resident, Barb was treated to a surprise visit from the Butlers in the Buff, who brought plenty of laughter, fun, and unforgettable moments to a garden party attended by residents, families, friends, and the local community.

With live entertainment, delicious homemade food, sunshine, and smiles all around, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly seeing Barb's reaction as the butlers arrived.

To make the occasion even more meaningful, funds raised during the event will be donated to the Stroke Association, a charity close to Barb’s heart.
