BREAKING NEWS for allergy parents 🚨
The MHRA has approved a new lower-dose 1 mg version of EURneffy adrenaline nasal spray for children aged 4 and over, weighing between 15 kg and 30 kg.
Previously, EURneffy was authorised for older children and adults. This latest approval means younger children in the UK now have access to a needle-free emergency treatment option for anaphylaxis.
For families managing severe allergies, this may offer an alternative to traditional adrenaline auto-injectors and help reduce injection anxiety for both children and caregivers.
As with auto-injectors, two EURneffy adrenaline nasal sprays should always be carried, and 999 should be called immediately after use.
At Children’s Allergy Doctors, we are proud to offer private access to EURneffy as part of our consultant-led allergy care.
