We’re delighted to share that LIFT Music/Stuart Grimshaw has been selected as a finalist in the Digital Engagement category at the 2027 National Activity Awards! We are incredibly proud to receive this national recognition and look forward to celebrating in January. Big thanks to Kelly Mills for her collaboration.

On Saturday, we delivered a LIFT Music session with Calm Connect at The Big Red Bus Club in Charlton, bringing children and their carers together to explore movement, music and creativity.

One moment really stood out. A 4-year-old boy with profound disabilities and very limited movement tried LIFT Music and worked it out almost immediately. Using just a downward fist movement, he began improvising and created a fantastic piece of music of his own. 🎵

This is exactly why we created LIFT Music, to give people who may not be able to access traditional instruments the opportunity to express themselves, create and have a voice through music.

Thank you to Rowan Pubble for organising such a welcoming and inclusive session.
