Don't wait for a crisis to start the conversation about care.

For many families, care only becomes a topic of conversation after a hospital stay, a fall or a sudden change in someone's health.

But you don't have to wait until things reach that point.

Talking about care earlier can give everyone time to understand the options, discuss what your loved one wants and consider what support might be helpful.

It doesn't mean you have to arrange care straight away.

Sometimes, it's simply about being prepared.

Because when the time comes, having already had the conversation can make a difficult decision feel a little less overwhelming.
