Neera Haria is one of London's enthusiastic kirtaneers in support of Srila Prabhupada's mission and aims to inspire the chanting of the Holy Names

As a practitioner of Bhakti Yoga since the 1980s, Neera has been passionate about the chanting and distribution of the Holy Names and study of Vedic Scriptures. Neera is often invited to kirtan events across the capital, UK-wide and sometimes internati

onally. She also joins a world-renowned Hare Krishna Team, who travel and share Krishna Consciousness with the public. Neera works with the team to host events in town and village halls that give the general public an introduction to Krishna Consciousness.

SEEING WITH THE EARS:

ā€œSo therefore real eyesā€”the ear, not these eyes. Real eyes. That is real seeing. Therefore śāstra says, Vedic knowledge, that śāstra-cakį¹£uį¹£Ät, paśyati jƱāna-cakį¹£uį¹£Ät: "One can see by the eyes of knowledge," not by these blunt eyes. This is useless. They cannot see. And how you can see through the śabda? Śāstra means śabda. Through the ear... My Guru Mahārāja used to say, "Don't try to see a saintly person by your eyes. You see a saintly person by the ear."
