Arti and I both graduated from King’s College London, with Arti being in the year above me and living in the apartment across the corridor from me! She was a huge support and influence to me at uni, and certainly fulfilled the “work hard, play hard” ethic - her house parties were EPIC! 🥳💃

It’s crazy to think that years down the line, I’m following in her footsteps to becoming an orthodontic consultant 🦷👩🏻‍⚕️🤓 We’ve come a long way since BDS, and I’m very grateful and excited to be sharing this pathway with you!

My Masters research has finally been published! 🥳🥳🥳 📄📕📖 Thank you to my co-authors for all their support and work on this project. It’s been a long haul with a lot of shed but I hope it brings to light the importance of authorship in the academic publishing world.

And that’s the end of my orthodontic specialist training, how three years have flown by! A lovely send off and gifts from the department and patients, as well as the classic departmental buffet lunch (I forgot to take a photo of the separate dessert table 😆). I have spent so many hours drawing and re-drawing cephalometric superimpositions for patients that I’ve treated with braces... and all this effort boils down to a 30 min oral examination tomorrow...! 🙈 That’s just one of the multiple online exams that I’ll be sitting over the next 4 days in order to qualify as a specialist orthodontist. Wish me luck! 🍀🍀
