In Ghana some cultures see's, Cerebral Palsy (CP) children as children given by the river Gods. These children have a disorder as a result of deformities of the following;
> Lack of due care during birth by midwives
>Home birth without efficient supervision
>Lack of oxygen to the baby during birth
> Bleeding in the baby's brain
>Changes (Mutation) in the genes that affect the brains development
>Premature birth
These children are often abandoned during or after birth by the riverside to die, which is due to a lack of education and poverty. JBurland Foundation in memory of Mr Jack Burland, wants to stop CP children being killed. JBurland foundation works to support the CP kids, aiding them with a better quality of life through financial means, education and also works to lessen the burdens of the parent or carer. JBurland Foundation needs your support to rescue, educate, provide financial needs to such kids. JBurland Foundation also requires, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and anybody who acquires the knowledge of CP to provide assistance with this cause.As many of the CP parents or carers, do not have the knowledge of how to provide better facilities and health care for these children
