“They don’t teach you how to change a tyre at the Sports Massage School🤣

Popped my tyre on the way to networking this morning. No spare in the boot, just that foam gel stuff (which wouldn’t have worked anyway, sidewall puncture).

Got to networking, dealt with it after.

Then me and Emma spent FIVE HOURS trying to get the wheel off so I could take it to the garage. YouTube videos, wrong sized jack from her Ford Focus, me literally jumping up and down on the locking wheel nut. Mobile tyre guys wanted £150 and a 3 hour wait 🙃

Finally got the wheel off, made it to the garage at half 4, they were closing at 5. Fixed in 10 minutes.

💕Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do in a treatment room is put down the tools and just be present.

💕A few weeks ago a client came in during one of the hardest weeks of her life. We didn’t do any treatment. We just talked about life and why she was going through.
I wouldn’t take a penny for her time because that is not a session you charge for.

💕This week she came back and brought these beautiful flowers with her.
Therapy is not just about the hands and the tools. My room is a safe space where you are looked after and listened to.
Whatever you bring through that door, we handle it together.

I don’t share this for praise. I share it because this is what Restoration is built on. Real people, real life, real care.
Sports therapy is not just about muscles and injuries. It is about the whole person walking through that door.
