Lisa has a background in Education, having been a Deputy Head Teacher in charge of pastoral care with a special interest in SEN. Working across all age groups, bu

t mainly in secondary and FE. Specialising in working with hard to reach young people particularly with Special Educational Needs, including ASD and PDA and also from Looked After backgrounds. Lisa provides training for business and educational establishments in visual stress and how this can be effectively managed in the work place and the classroom. Visual Stress is not an optical or medical problem; it is a visual perceptual dysfunction affecting the brain's ability to process visual information causing difficulties primarily with reading and writing-based subjects.

We often hear parents say "I didn't realise" or "I didn't know" and it is easy to feel guilt around not properly understanding the struggles our children have been living with in regards to visual stress (its so much more than finding reading is difficult).

By giving children a space where they receive validation and understanding of their symptoms is life-changing for them and eye-opening for parents.

Every assessment is followed by a comprehensive report to be shared with school / college / university to allow real support and adjustments to be provided.
