This is why we do what we do 🥹💙

We recently received this beautiful thank you card from a patient we referred for treatment — and honestly, moments like these make every day worthwhile.

This patient was especially touched because we were with her throughout the process, fighting to help her get the treatment she needed — and we did get there !

As a small independent practice, we genuinely care about our patients and are with them every step of the way. Going through this journey together, she’s become more than just a patient — she’s a friend to both me and the practice ❤️

She also brought chocolates… although they disappeared a little too quickly for a photo 🍫😂

🌿👁️ Spotted at the garden centre this weekend...

I was back home visiting my parents this weekend, and of course a trip to the garden centre was mandatory - is anyone else just looking forward to some colour in their garden soon 🌺....

I've clearly been in the optical game too long... even when I'm looking at plants, all I can see is lenses! Just L👀K at this monocle plant! 😄🌺

Despite the forecasters doing their best to dampen our spirits, the sun had other ideas and did make an appearance in the Midlands. Speaking of sunshine, the good news (if the forecast is to be believed) is there's MORE on the way later this week! ☀️

We wonder how many of you will recognise Mrs J out and about?... it’s been such a pleasure to watching her confidence in eyewear grow. She’s certainly getting braver (and more colourful!) with her choices … and honestly, doesn’t she pull them off brilliantly?

We always end up laughing together about the compliments she gets, and how she rarely makes it through a trip to the shops without being stopped for a chat — or asked where she got her glasses from (business cards at the ready!).

That’s the real magic of great eyewear — it doesn’t just change how you see, it changes how you’re seen.

Signing off this week with another new member of the Reykjavík Eyewear Club 😎

These stunning Reykjavik Eyes titanium frames headed home with Mr H last week — and we think he wears them brilliantly.
“Approaching 70yrs of age, I’m now not quite the ‘Cool Dude’ as was…”-We’re going to disagree with him there — we think he looks very cool 😎

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing someone put on the right frame and instantly light up. These weren’t just new glasses for him — they were a real change in confidence and style too.
