So we come to the end of one era and the start of a new one. Will post some pictures of the new clinic, next week, once it has some furniture in it!

Just had confirmation that as with lockdown 2 we are allowed to remain open.

Chiropractic services remain open across the UK.
It is important that chiropractors can continue to offer their services to their patients for several reasons. These include:
🧑‍⚕️Patient care, particularly when a patient is in pain and needs to seek a consultation.
👨‍⚕️Offering a chiropractic service to key/essential workers, including those in the NHS.
👩‍⚕️Reducing the musculoskeletal care burden on the NHS, particularly if patients are finding it hard to access these services due to the pandemic.

So finally had confirmation last night that we are able to stay open through the 4 week Lockdown. The only change is that Edd won't be running his exercise classes, he will however continue with his 1 to 1 treatment sessions.
We will continue to have the same precautions in place, with the one way system and time between patients to sanitise. So please make sure you bring a face covering, fill out the COVID questions before each appointment, wait in your car for your practitioner to collect you.

Please stay safe.

COVID-19 UPDATE
We are delighted to announce that we are now open for face-to-face appointments!

To do this we have implemented some special measures to counter the spread of COVID-19. You must wait in your car until collected by your practitioner. They will es**rt you into the clinic where you will be required to wash your hands upon entry. You must have a face mask/covering with you and wear appropriate attire – we can sell you a face mask if you do not have one, but we cannot currently provide you with a patient gown as we have in the past. We also request that you leave any unnecessary items in your car, and attend appointments on your own.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 you must follow government guidelines and self isolate.

Welcome, we will now be posting some videos to keep you all moving whilst we are unable to fully open. This video aims to show you some simple mobility exercises you can do at home. Feel free to follow along. Each movement demonstrated can be done with short holds or as repetitions. Slow and controlled is key. Please be aware, you will all have your own level of mobility, it is important to not push your limits and avoid discomfort or pain.
More videos will follow, feel free to request anything specific.
Also we are now offering live 1:1 consultations with Edd our Exercise Rehabilitation Specialist. Simply book an appointment.

I made the decision yesterday to close the clinic, and attempted to speak to everyone with an appointment this week. I appreciate that I haven't managed to speak to all of you yet, but I will do. I was overwhelmed with your kind words about what we have done for you and how supportive you all are of the decision. I am hoping that fairly soon we will have the ability to offer video appointments for those of you in desperate need of a consultation and possibly for Edd to do some exercise rehabilitation sessions. But until such time that we have these in place you will be unable to book any appointment online. Please stay safe and we will see you once the risk of spreading infection has reduced down.
Many thanks for your support in these most difficult of times, Leigh
