Morning, it's Sunday 13th September and our last trading day before we take a whole week off 🙌 The Mystical Cat is open until around 4pm on this soggy ☔️ Sunday although allegedly it's only supposed to wet this morning🤞guess we'll see later on.

On this day we plan on a few maintenancy things and getting ready for when we return on Tuesday 22nd September when Halloween 🎃 will be more prominent. We do have a few Christmas things on sale already, a couple of lines have sold out as well and we really need to effectively plan for that as well give that most larger shops are already in the throes of Christmas sales 🤐 So the choice dear followers, what different Halloween or Christmas things would you like to see in our shop specifically?

We did pop out a couple of other items yesterday but the much awaited other delivery didnt arrive yesterday so you'll all have to wait until we're back to see what we had ordered ☺️

So on that note we wish you a fabulous Sunday and whilst we won't post every day next week, we may just pop up in your feed when you least expect it whilst we are away from the shop.

Morning 👋 it's the weekend so just today and tomorrow to shop at The Mystical Cat before we take a week off 🥳 sorry, not sorry 😸. Yes we are a little late opening as well as this second Saturday of the month, we always take a trip to The Forest Bakehouse to collect our monthly stash of pork and lamb courtesy of Plump Hill Farm 😋 who are there today until lunchtime. If you eat pork, lamb or mutton they are definitely the meat to buy in our opinion 🫶

We had a number of deliveries in yesterday, many old favourites returned and yes, some are put aside already with the multitude of requests we have had recently. Along with the old favourites some newbie lines just because.....and we still have a few to price and picture so we'll share these last few bits tomorrow. Plus there is one delivery we are still waiting on for today as well. 😉

So we are open here at Harts Barn Craft Centre until around 4pm today and will be back tomorrow, Sunday for any last minute bits you might need from our little shop.

Today its much cooler, although rumour has it the next couple of days it should get warmer again 🙄 but whatever you are doing and wherever you are, we wish you a lovely day.

Morning Mystical Cat followers - it's Friday and another weekend approaches 🙌 and only 3 days until we take a week off 😀

Yesterday was our Wedding Anniversary and the florist who is based onsite here at Harts Barn Craft Centre prepared and delivered to us a beautiful bouquet 💐 thanks to The Lavender Stone Florist and thanks to the other half, Chris for arranging the surprise flowers 😘

Now back to business, yesterday we took delivery of a new locally produced product courtesy of Witches Fingers - Sweet & smoky Chilli Sauce and are very pleased to add this item to our witchy corner!! We also had in a supply of tumbled crystals and a few cuff chip bracelets and a new elephant oil burner 🫶

Today we do have a number of deliveries coming in and will post these pictures tomorrow.

A note on tomorrow, as it's the second Saturday of the month, we will be collecting this months stash of the best that we've ever tasted pork and lamb, courtesy of Plump Hill Farm who will be at The Forest Bakehouse from 9am tomorrow, Saturday, morning. Obviously this collection involves a coffee and catch up whilst we're there, so we may be a little late opening tomorrow morning 😉

Morning 👋 it's Thursday 10th September and The Mystical Cat is open for business 🙌

The sky is looking pretty similar to yesterday and it feels a little colder but dry so far🤞

No deliveries yesterday but we do have some today and tomorrow to wrap up our last week before we take a little break next week....if you missed it, we will be closed ALL week next week so if you need anything from us you have just 4 days (including today) to come down and see us.

Right, coffee ☕️ is made and we're off to vegetate in the corner for a few minutes. Have a nice day.

Hellooooooo 👋

The Mystical Cat is in and open 🙌 . It's a bit cloudy here at Harts Barn Craft Centre but allegedly according to the Met Office it's not going to rain....not so sure looking at the clouds but I guess we'll see 🤷‍♀️

Orders were done yesterday for more glass Christmas Trees🎄however not sure whether they will be in before we take a few days off. Watch this space for details though as you just never know 😉

Right off to do some work, we'll catch you all tomorrow. Don't forget to keep supporting local businesses, everyone really does appreciate it 🫶

Good morning, its Tuesday and the start of another week here at The Mystical Cat.

A couple of important things to note which we'll reminders out for -

- tomorrow, Wednesday, we will be opening a little later than normal🤞by 11.30am, hopefully earlier, and

- next week, week commencing 14th September we will be closed ALL week for a staycation break as well as a little trip to the Davis Cup tennis🎾. If you need anything you need to come and visit this week....we'll be open every day from now until Sunday.

Over the weekend Jackie of www.sindencox-art.co.uk popped in with a couple of new pieces of stained glass 🦇🍂 which you can see in the pictures below.

In addition, a few of the other rapidly approaching seasonal🎄bits have started to appear around the shop, just because 😂.

By no means are we going to be going full on 🎅 quite yet, we definitely want to do a bit more than normal 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♀️🧟‍♀️🕷🪄 first, but as we will have to order in more handmade glass🎄as they sold out in one day, we are trying to be more 🛒 and get some things on sale sooner!!

If you have a desire for something specific from us, for the Yuletide season, remember that as a smaller business we really do value your custom AND we do and can stock many items that the bigger retailers do AND at more affordable prices, so please contact us sooner rather than later 🙏

Morning, it's Sunday 6th September and The Mystical Cat is open 🙌.

Today here at Harts Barn Craft Centre, it's supposed to be hot, hot, hot 🥵 ....again 😐 albeit allegedly only for the 1 day.

Alongside our little shop being open, some of the other businesses open today include our favourite coffee ☕️supplier, the Old Dairy Tearoom as well as Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House, The Lavender Stone Florist and we spied that Harts Barn Cookery School are also onsite for a cookery class 😋

We hope to see some of you today at Harts Barn but whatever you are doing, wishing you a fabulous day.

Good morning Mystical Cat followers....it's Saturday and it appears it's going to be a warm dry day today 😀 (and getting even hotter tomorrow 🫣🤐).

We had a bit of "excitement" yesterday, if you call it that 🤨 we had to close early for an unexpected but urgent appointment we had been called to, so massive apologies if you arrived to visit us yesterday to a sign on the door .....we're very sorry 😿 but, we are already in and open this morning and raring to go....well raring might be too strong a word but we are in and open until around 4pm ish today.

No deliveries yesterday but we did secure an order of an item which we have been trying to get for a few months now, although we want to keep this quiet at this point, just in case the supplier comes back and tells us they've sold out again...it's frustrating as we have paid for this item, and ordered a far larger quantity as well, we're being hopeful that it will be arriving soon 🙌

Today we'll catch up with yesterday's planned work 🫣 as well as hoping for a busy visitor day here at Harts Barn Craft Centre.

There's already a fair bit going on today, Harts Barn Cookery School are teaching today, we have our much needed coffee from the Old Dairy Tearoom and as well as our shop, The Mystical Cat, The Lavender Stone Florist and Broadlands Pottery are already open with Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House and Crafty Upcycling opening later this morning.

Whatever you are doing today, and wherever you are, we hope you have a good one and see you all very soon.
