The family would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the cards, messages and kindness shown to them following the loss of Bill. Heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Stephen Hospital, Dufftown and Denise who helped care for Bill, while at home. You were all fantastic and it was very much appreciated. The family would also like to thank Rev. Morris Smith for his lovely service, Annie’s Wee Catering Company for her delicious teas and to Gill Garrow for the beautiful flower arrangements. Sincere thanks also go to Graham J. Rattray Funeral Directors for giving Bill a beautiful, dignified send off and for their compassion and kindness. Thank you to everyone who attended the service and generously donated £510, which went to the Stephen Hospital, Dufftown. Bill will be sorely missed.

Loving wife of the late Erich Thomson and Alex Crockett, much loved mum of Nicholas (Nic), caring step mum of Susan, cherished granny of Sarene and Ellis, adoring great granny and a good friend to many. June’s funeral service, to which all are welcome, will be held at 12noon, on Tuesday, 25th August, in St. Sylvester’s Church, Elgin and thereafter to St. Ninian’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to charities close to June’s heart can be made at the church door, if desired. R.I.P.

Much loved husband of Eileen, loving father of Karen, David and Sarah, proud granda of Maya, Ben, Grace and Eve, who will be sorely missed by family and all who knew him. Ken’s funeral service, to which all are welcome, will be held at 11am, on Monday, 24th August, in Graham J. Rattray’s Funeral Home, Shore Street, Lossiemouth, IV31 6PB. For those who wish to take part in Biler’s last run, whether you can do the whole run or any part of it, your presence and time will be greatly appreciated by all who knew him. Especially his wife Carol, sons Andrew, David, Robert and their wives Katrina, Chelsea, Alison and his 10 adored and adoring grandchildren.

We will leave the funeral home on Shore Street at 12.15pm on Tuesday August 18, heading out the Inchbroom Road, Orton, Boat O Brig, Keith following the A96 to Kintore, Dunecht, Echt, Hirn Road, Crathes Primary School to Baldarroch Crematorium.

My lasting memory of Biler will always be, when I left school and started in the Robertsons of Elgin workshop, where Biler worked at the time. If there was anything you needed, you had to go upstairs to the office and ask the office staff for it. This particular day Biler came out of the workshop toilet and said to the foreman, there’s nae paper in there, the foreman replied, well you’ve got a tongue in your head haven’t you, quick as a flash Biler replied, AYE BUT I’VE NAE GOT A NECK LIKE A GIRAFFE!!!

Always a story 😂🤣😂
