I am writing to share an update from our Medical Secretary, Angela, who is currently in hospital following a nasty fall on Friday.
Angela wanted to pass on a heartfelt message about her experience. She is aware that Leicester Hospitals—particularly the Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI)—have recently faced negative press. However, she has found her own care to be absolutely outstanding.
She shares that every single member of staff, from the porters to the consultants, has treated her with the utmost kindness, compassion, and respect. While Angela understands that not everyone has had the same positive experience, she knows that negative headlines can make people frightened to go into hospital. She wants to reassure everyone that when hospital is the right place to recover, you are in excellent hands.
We wish Angela a very speedy recovery!

Every year in England 20,000 infants are admitted to hospital with bronchiolitis. with severe may need intensive care, and the infection can be fatal.

The surgery will be closed for training this afternoon - Wednesday 1st July from 1.00pm - 6.00pm.

All staff will be taking part in training relevant to their roles, to include, the management and recalls for patients with long term conditions.
