In light of the recent events concerning Robert Bush and Legacy Independent Funeral Directors, we feel it necessary to reassure families who have entrusted their loved ones to us in the past, or may need our services in the future.
We have been totally outraged and appalled by the horrific actions of Robert Bush and cannot begin to comprehend the heartache he has inflicted on so many people, not to mention the damage done to the funeral industry as a whole.
We want to reassure everyone that all Funeral Directors are not the same. We pride ourselves on the service we provide, and we have robust systems in place for the care of loved ones and their cremated remains. We are proud to be a member of the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) who carry out regular inspections on our premises and have a strict code of conduct in place that we must adhere to. Also, both of our Funeral Directors are qualified with a Diploma in Funeral Directing with the National Association of Funeral Directors.
We understand that families in our community may feel concerned and we want to reassure you all that we care for every loved one with the utmost dignity and respect. If you have any questions about how we operate, our facilities here in Loughborough or SAIF standards, then you only have to ask.
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic events.

Recently we had the honour of arranging a rather special gentlemans final journey, he was a re-enactor and took his last ride in a WWII jeep. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this happen, even the weather smiled on us!

We would like to take a moment to wish everyone a happy Christmas. For many of you it's the first Christmas without your loved one and we truly feel for you. We all think of those no longer with us, especially at Christmas, but try to remember the happy times and smile for a moment.

We are thrilled to announce that today is our 10th anniversary.
In that time we have been proud to support almost 2,500 families in their time of greatest despair. We hope each one felt the support, respect and empathy that is expected from a quality Funeral Director.

This year marks a special milestone for Loughborough Crematorium on Leicester Road — 65 years of serving the community with care and compassion. To honour this anniversary, Dignity Funeral Services (who operate the crematorium) are introducing several new enhancements:

🌸 New Flower Stall – Fresh blooms now available on-site, thanks to a partnership with a local florist.
☕ Coffee Cabin – Enjoy quality refreshments in a peaceful setting, provided by an independent coffee vendor.
⛪ Chapel Refurbishment – A full renovation co-designed with 18 local funeral directors, creating a more welcoming and respectful space for families and visitors.

📅 Save the Date: Saturday 30 August, 10.30am until 2.30pm

A special Open Day is being held to celebrate the completion of these improvements and the 65th anniversary. Expect guided tours, meet-and-greets with the crematorium team and local funeral directors, a showcase of their fleet, and refreshments.
