🍂 As we head into autumn, don’t forget to keep opening the windows. 🍂

This is especially important for rooms you spend a lot of time in & share with other people - day & night.

Benefits to keeping a window open:

* Improve oxygen flow, reduce CO2 build up 💨
* Enhance natural light exposure ☀️
* Disperses airborne pathogens, reducing the risk of illness 🦠
* Cooler environment for sleep & gentle white noise 😴

If you are unable to keep a window open, think of airing the rooms morning & evening for 10/15 minutes

When to keep windows closed:
* High pollution 🤧
* Extreme temperatures 🥵 🥶
* Safety 🔐

How does your menstrual cycle compare?

What is common, may not be normal. For example, pain is common, but indicates an imbalance.

Want to work on your cycle? Promote your period health? Optimise for fertility?

I haven’t felt right since…

…the pregnancy
…the burnout year
…the injury that “healed”
…I stopped sleeping through the night
…I caught that cold

Sound familiar?

Your body remembers things your mind has moved past.

Fatigue, tension, brain fog, cycles that feel off — they don’t just disappear because time did.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine work with your body’s own systems to get to the root of what shifted, not just mask the symptoms.

If you’ve been carrying an “I haven’t felt right since…” for longer than you’d like to admit, let’s talk about it. 🌿

Menopause is a transition, not a pathology. 🌿

Two women can have identical blood results and completely different symptoms through perimenopause and menopause. That’s why I don’t just check blood work — I focus on YOUR symptoms and what’s actually driving them.

There are common, identifiable drivers behind perimenopause and menopause symptoms. When we work on these — through acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle — symptoms can genuinely improve.

This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about understanding your body and supporting it through a natural of stage life.

Own your menopause journey. 💫

Itchy bits are not cool 🥵

Since the heat kicked in at the end of May, I’ve seen a noticeable rise in clients coming in with urogenital discomfort — and it’s not a coincidence.

Hot weather significantly increases your risk of both UTIs and vaginal symptoms like yeast infections and BV.

Here’s why:
🔹 Dehydration — more sweating means more concentrated urine, which lets bacteria thrive
🔹 Heat + humidity — disrupts your natural microbiome down there
🔹 Wet swimsuits & gym clothes — trap moisture and become the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungus

How to protect yourself:
✅ Drink plenty of water to keep urine diluted
✅ Change out of wet/sweaty clothes ASAP
✅ Choose breathable, loose-fitting fabrics + cotton underwear (skip the thong for now!)
✅ Go commando at night
✅ Cleanse gently with warm water only

Your body will thank you. 💧

Save this as your summer reminder, and share with a friend who needs it. 👇

When did you last truly stop?

Your nervous system doesn’t just need sleep. It needs restoration at three levels:

🌙 Daily — 10-20 minutes of genuine downtime (no scrolling). This is where cortisol resets and digestion actually happens.

🗓️ Weekly — one full day with no obligations. Not a “productive rest day.” An actual pause.

🌴 Yearly — 10+ consecutive days off, at least once a year. (I prefer twice a year) 😉
This is the only dose long enough to let your baseline stress hormones drop and stay down — most people don’t downshift until day 4 or 5.

Skip any one of these and you’re not resting — you’re just recovering enough to keep going.

That’s not health, that’s maintenance.

Portugal has been my summer stop. A mixture of beach, sightseeing and good food & wine. A few too many red beach flags and longer than planned bike ride (37km). But a complete break. 🥂

When is your next stop? 🛑
