🎉 The Wolds Summer Festival! 🎉
We had a fantastic afternoon at our Wolds Summer Festival! ☀️ We enjoyed great music, fun games, stalls, a lovely visit from the pony and even a surprise visit from a very cute calf! 🐴🐮
It was wonderful to have so many friends and families join us, and especially lovely to welcome back some familiar faces from past families. ❤️
A massive thank you to all our amazing staff for their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm in putting this special event together. We couldn’t have done it without you! 👏
We’re delighted to have raised nearly £500, which will go towards creating more fantastic activities and experiences for our residents. 💜
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable afternoon! 🌸🎶🎪

☀️🍦 Festival Fun Tomorrow! 🍦☀️
What a lovely sunny day we’ve had today! Our residents have been enjoying the hot weather with some delicious ice lollies, while we’ve been busy getting everything ready for tomorrow’s festival. 😎🍦🎉
Just a reminder that our festival is tomorrow from 1.30pm!

🇬🇷🚢 This Week at The Wolds Care Centre! 🚢🇬🇷
A new week means another exciting journey aboard the Wolds Voyager – and this time, we're setting sail for Greece! 🇬🇷☀️
We have lots of Greek-inspired activities planned for our residents, with plenty of fun, music, food, crafts and opportunities to explore Greek culture along the way.
We've also added a few photos from last week's activities, capturing some of the lovely moments and memories our residents enjoyed together. 💙
We can't wait to share our Greek adventure with you! ⚓️🌊✨

🎁 Raffle & Tombola Donations Needed! 🎁
Our Summer Festival is just around the corner, and we're looking for donations to help make our raffle and tombola a fantastic success!
If you have any unwanted gifts, toiletries, chocolates, bottles, candles, games or other new or good-quality items that you would be happy to donate, we would be incredibly grateful.
All donations will help us raise funds to support activities and experiences for our residents.
Donations can be dropped off at reception. Thank you for your kindness and continued support – every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. 💛

🌊☀️ A Day by the Sea ☀️🌊
Our residents enjoyed a lovely day out at Sandilands, spending the afternoon relaxing in Abby's beach hut.
There was plenty of time to enjoy cake and coffee while watching the waves roll in, taking in the fresh sea air and peaceful surroundings. It was a wonderful opportunity to unwind, reminisce and enjoy each other's company by the coast.
Days like these create special memories and bring so much joy to our residents. 💙🏖️

🌼 This Week's Activities at The Wolds Care Centre 🌼
There's another fun-filled week ahead for our residents! From themed activities and games to crafts, exercise, music and plenty of opportunities to socialise, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We've also included a few photos from the last few days, where residents have been busy with crafting sessions and taking part in our garden scavenger hunt. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the sunshine and making the most of our beautiful outdoor spaces. 🌿🎨

Our residents have had a lovely time getting creative this week! 🌸🎨

From making button pictures and enjoying some relaxing colouring, to creating beautiful bouquet pictures using fresh flowers picked from our garden, there's been plenty of fun and creativity to enjoy.

It's always wonderful to see everyone's imagination and artistic talents shine! 💐✨

🌸🐝 HICA in Bloom – First Round of Judging! 🐝🌸
Yesterday, residents proudly welcomed Terry and Rob for the first round of judging in this year's HICA in Bloom competition.
Our residents had a wonderful time showcasing everything they have created and achieved for this year's theme, "Animal and Insect Friendly, incorporating Wildflowers and Colour." From creative crafts and bug hotels to beautiful planting displays and our special singalong, it was fantastic to share all of their hard work and dedication.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far, and good luck to all of the HICA homes taking part in this year's competition! 🌼🦋🐞💚
