This afternoon, we did not say goodbye; we paid farewell to an extraordinary young lady, just 24 years old.
The photographs show our hearse and dedicated team ready to depart from Armstrong & Fraser Independent Funeral Directors, prepared to carry out our final duty with the care, dignity and respect every family deserves.
Mark was up early this morning to personally wash, dry and polish our hearse, ensuring every detail was perfect before we left our funeral home. For us, this is not simply a vehicle โ it is a symbol of the honour and responsibility we carry when entrusted with someoneโs final journey.
Knowing her favourite colour was lilac, we added beautiful lilac bows, made locally, to our hearse and placed four additional bows with her beautiful wicker coffin, creating a personal and meaningful tribute that reflected the young lady she was.
Today, we celebrated the life of a talented artist, a dedicated British Heart Foundation volunteer, a loving daughter, an amazing sister and a much-loved auntie.
At Armstrong & Fraser Independent Funeral Directors, we believe every person deserves to be treated as an individual, never as a number. Every farewell is unique, and every detail matters.
It was our privilege to stand alongside her family and friends today, offering care, compassion and professionalism during such a difficult time.
Rest peacefully. Your creativity, kindness and beautiful spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew you.
