🍂🎨 Autumn Has Arrived at The Elms! 🍁❤️
We’ve started to embrace the beautiful signs of autumn here at The Elms Care Home, with the leaves beginning to fall from the trees around our grounds. 🌳🍂

Our residents have been getting creative with nature, taking part in a lovely autumn leaf crafting activity. They enjoyed drawing around the leaves, creating their own designs and then bringing them to life with lots of colourful paints. 🎨🖌️

It was especially lovely to see our residents who weren’t able to join us in the lounge still being included in the activity from the comfort of their own bedrooms. 🥰🍁 Our team made sure everyone had the opportunity to get involved in their own way.

There’s something very special about enjoying the changing seasons together — and our residents certainly brought a little extra colour to autumn! 🍂❤️

💪🌿 Keeping Active at The Elms! 🌿💪
Our residents at The Elms have enjoyed a lovely session of gentle exercises with our in-house Keep Fit class! 🧘‍♀️✨

These gentle movements are a great way to motivate our muscles, support mobility, and help us stay active and moving. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful opportunity to have some fun together while looking after our wellbeing. 😊❤️

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Our Woodlands Superheroes Family Tree! 🌳✨
As part of our Superheroes Day at The Elms Care Home, our wonderful residents in Woodlands have been getting creative and celebrating all things superhero! 🦸‍♀️💥

Our residents have created a fantastic Superheroes Board, featuring their colourful artwork, along with their thoughts and comments about their favourite superheroes. 🎨❤️

We’ve proudly named it our “Woodlands Superheroes Family Tree” 🌳🦸‍♂️ — celebrating the strength, courage, kindness and unique superpowers that each of our residents brings to our Woodlands family.

Because, of course, every family needs a few superheroes! 💙✨

Well done to our wonderful residents for creating such a special and meaningful display! 👏🌟

"There is nobody like our Laura..."

We're proud to say Laura's been working at The Elms for over 16 years, starting as a care assistant and working her way to Activities Lead.

Recently, she was a finalist for BBC Radio Lincolnshire's 'Make a Difference in the World' for helping so many people by knitting hats for premature babies and patients in the ICU.

Her wonderful colleague Wendy couldn't praise Laura enough, and we wanted to give her a special shout out as one of our unsung, care heroes.

Of course, she ran with the superhero theme and looked brilliant celebrating at our party last week!

Thank you Laura for everything you do for us and the community 💙

We continued the fun at The Elms with an action-packed day full of laughter, games and superhero adventures! 🌟

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic selection of superhero-themed games, with our wonderful staff teams getting into the spirit of the day by dressing up as superheroes themselves! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️✨

We also enjoyed some lovely refreshments along the way, keeping everyone fuelled for all the fun! ☕🍰

It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter, fun and plenty of superhero spirit! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and made the day so special! 🌟

Our residents enjoyed a lovely day of pampering and relaxation today. 💕 They took some time to unwind with relaxing therapies, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. 🌸🧖‍♀️

We also got busy with our Superhero Day preparations, getting everything ready for our exciting celebrations! 🎨🎈🦸‍♂️

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying some well-deserved relaxation while also getting creative and looking forward to our superhero fun! 💥❤️

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Superhero Day at The Elms! 🌟

Today at The Elms, we celebrated Superhero Day with lots of fun and laughter across the whole home and within all our communities! 💥

Our residents, relatives, friends and team members got involved with some fantastic fancy dress and enjoyed a fun-filled superhero quiz. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in and creating some amazing memories together. ❤️

As part of our Superhero Day celebrations, we are also raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. 💜

We’ve been very busy at The Elms getting everything ready for our Superhero Celebration! 🎉✨

Our residents and team have been hard at work decorating and adding lots of colourful superhero touches in preparation for our big party on Friday 28th August! 🎈🎊

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed as their favourite superheroes and enjoy a fun-filled day of laughter, games and superhero magic! 💥🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Our residents at The Elms have had a fantastic time today getting creative with some colourful colouring activities while preparing for our upcoming Superhero Day! 🎨✨

Everyone loved getting involved, and we’ve seen some truly amazing artwork filled with bright, powerful colours! 💥🌈
