🌟 OUR FIRST CQC INSPECTION — AND WE COULDN’T BE PROUDER! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to share the results of our very first CQC inspection.
We have been rated GOOD overall, with OUTSTANDING for Caring! ❤️👏

And we have to say… reading the words in our CQC report has made us incredibly emotional and proud.

CQC said that we “consistently demonstrated an exceptional standard of care, placing people at the heart of everything they did.”

They recognised that our staff show genuine compassion, kindness and respect, taking the time to understand each person’s individual needs, preferences and life history, and ensuring that care is truly personalised to them.

They also found that relationships between our staff and the people we support were warm, supportive and built on trust, enabling people to feel valued, listened to and safe.

But perhaps what means the most to us is hearing what the people we support and their families had to say.

People described our carers as “lovely,” “very good,” “attentive,” “professional” and “kind”, with many saying they would highly recommend our service to others. ❤️

CQC also recognised that our team consistently went above and beyond to provide person-centred care.

One of the examples that really made us smile was the story of someone who mentioned they missed having a tonic and lemon in a “posh” glass. The next time their carer visited, they brought a bottle of tonic and lemons, sat with them and shared it together in a posh glass. It became a weekly tradition. 🥰

To us, that is what care is all about.

It isn't always about the big things.
Sometimes it's noticing the little things that matter to someone, listening to what they say, remembering what makes them happy and taking that extra moment to make their day a little brighter. ❤️

We are also incredibly proud that CQC recognised how we support people to maintain their independence, choice and control. They saw how our team builds trust and confidence, helping people achieve things they may not have thought possible.

And of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing team.

CQC described our culture as extremely positive, recognised our strong leadership and highlighted how well supported and valued our staff feel.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every member of our team. Your kindness, dedication, compassion and commitment are what make Help at Home Care what it is.

This Outstanding rating belongs to every one of you. ❤️
We are so incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.

And to the people we support and their families — thank you for trusting us to care for you and your loved ones. Your feedback and kind words mean more to us than you will ever know.

We would love for you to take a look at our CQC report and have a read for yourselves. It really is fantastic to see our wonderful team and the care they provide recognised in this way.
