Something to think about……

When you see a post very much like the story I shared this morning “sunrise yoga”. I hope to inspire people and not make anyone feel any less than they are. Just always remember that when someone posts something there’s a lot behind what you see.

You can either celebrate someone’s win or choose to see someone’s else’s win as your lack of something. How you chose to see someone else’s post is your choice. (For the record no one has given me negativity about my post, I’m just using it as an example of what many may experience)

Going to sun rise yoga for me was something far bigger than anyone else could understand. I don’t post to say show how much better I am for getting up early and doing this kind of thing. I share it to inspire.

I very nearly didn’t go this morning. Iv wanted to do this for so long and constantly put it off. I was worried I didn’t know anyone, everyone would be better than me, I wouldn’t know where to meet, I couldn’t do the poses.

I can assure you I didn’t just ping out of Bed this morning and skip down to the beach! Ha

I have learnt that fear and anxiety is a good sign. When you get that feeling, know it’s because your mind is trying to stop you doing something new. It wants you safe and stuck (where it feels in control) The only way you can move forward and go down a new path is to challenge that fear or anxiety and know that once you break that barrier you have opened yourself to a whole new load of opportunities.

It’s not easy but having the faith in yourself to know you are strong enough to fight those feelings and you are more that just your thoughts. It’s quite empowering!

So when you see a post of someone achieving something. Do put them down for showing off, don’t make yourself feel inadequate. Look beyond the post and see it as proof of what you can be capable of.

Bit deep for a Friday morning! Ha
Lots of love

No one is perfect, no one is calm and together all of the time. As long as you are having more good days than bad, I’d say you are winning!

I’m honest enough to admit when I need a bit of mental attention. I’m fortunate enough to have learnt how to recognise signs of stress and anxiety in my body m, way before it takes hold and takes me on a spiral.

Today a brain dump is needed. I need to clear out the messy mind and just take control and sort out the stuff going on in there.

How did I know I needed it?
I was doing what I love, creating. But suddenly I’m not concentrating, I’m having some kind of internal dialogue in my head, I’m creating a future that doesn’t even exist. My hearts blipping out and my head feels fuzzy.

This isn’t me having a crisis, this isn’t me being weak. This is me stopping, listening to by body, acknowledging what is happening and stopping it in its tracks.

A little breather, a brain dump with a coffee and sweet treat and I’m back on track again. Not judging myself for being anxious or stressed today. Just grabbing it by the bits and showing it the door. They are just emotions and reactions within your. It’s and nothing else.

This always helps me. I can help you learn how to recognise your signs of stress and anxiety and help you become in tune with your body so that you to can nip it in the bud before your mind takes over and sends on horrible trip down anxiety lane in stress town!

Always remember that everyone is different and a stress response is unique to each of us. It doesn’t matter the cause, big or small. It’s all relative. If you need guidance navigating this please let me know as this a super power I can pass on!

Have a great day
Steph

The word coaching can sound quite formal and can often put people off. What about referring to it as mentoring or guidance. That feels more approachable.

Coaching is fundamentally about supporting and guiding others through lived experience.
When you have lived a certain experience you can guide from a place of understanding and compassion. It’s not therapy, counselling or any form of treatment. It’s talking to someone who gets you, understands you and knows how to help you find your way.

My style is very much laid back and from a very relatable level. I want you to feel heard, feel safe and comfortable. I designed my room to bring home comforts, cozy settings and tea! Everyone opens up a little easier with a cuppa in their hand.

Together we can just chat, discover where you may be stuck, find ways to lift your energy and see a brighter future through the current stuckness you find yourself in. Sometimes a new perspective is just the thing you need to shift your mindset and open up a whole host of new opportunities for you to follow.

I’m here to help you find your answers, your inner strength and a calmer future.

I can create and hold that space for you that gives you the opportunity to sort those thoughts, thrash things out and put things back in order. It’s not a quick fix and you do need to be prepared to put a lot of work in. You are ultimately the only person that has the power to heal yourself. I can show you how to do that.

I hope that clears a few things up for you. Any more questions please don’t hesitate to pop me a message.

Lots of love

It only seems natural to step into this new chapter with love, honesty and the passion to help support others.

I am proud to announce that I have gained my coaching certificate which now means I can really step into my supporting, caring and guiding role as a mindset coach.

I take this step with care and compassion. As many of you know I have come far in my journey. Life can throw some pretty tough challenges and traumatic events at us all and I have had my fair share. Yet here I am, stronger, kinder and more determined than ever to live a life that I choose. One with clarity, moments of peace and calm and most importantly enjoyment.

I have worked hard to be where I am today and I have gained so much experience and Knowledge along the way. We all have strength inside us, we just need the tools and support to find it and bring it to the surface.

As a mindset coach, I don’t have all the answers but I have the ability to walk alongside you, to help you find your way forward. I can guide you through the messy stuff with love and compassion as I know all too well the feelings you may be struggling with.

Whether it’s anxiety, overthinking, a lose of purpose or a traumatic event that you face, I can be that person who guides and supports you through.

You are not stuck. Together we can clear the messy mind, make sense of those thoughts and emotions and start to shift your way of thinking.

It’s never too late to rewrite your narrative and I would be honoured to be the person that holds space and allows you to do that.

I’m looking to take bookings starting in July. Please feel free to message me if any of this resonates with you. We can discuss the process and get your first session booked in.

With love,
Steph

I had an epiphany last week, a realisation and it’s left me with a plan.

Last week at the retreat I engaged in all sorts of modality’s to help shift energy, clear the mind, move the body and seek some answer. The biggest thing that happened to me is this…..

During a breath work session I was repeatedly invited to release all that is heavy, anything that doesn’t serve me, feelings that could be holding me back. Obviously at the moment carrying grief is a huge bundle of emotions and man it’s heavy! But the thought of releasing it made me feel sad. I don’t want to let go of this feeling, no matter how hard and heavy it feels some days. This is now part of who I am and I wouldn’t release it for the world. This is my connection to dad and all I have left. Within it are moments of joy and happy memories to. I don’t want to release my grief.

So this left me thinking, if grief is part of me now, what’s holding me back? What’s stopping me continue my energy work and supporting others? The answer is nothing. Grief is not my reason for not moving forward. My grief is what now gives me strength. The “what would dad do” moments.

I shall sit with this new feeling and realisation for a bit, revamp my healing, chill space and continue doing what I love as I did before. When the moment is right I’ll let you all know and welcome you back into my healing space.

Much love
Steph

As many of you may have seen, iv started writing a blog. I love writing and can express myself in a far better way than talking sometimes.

The theme is all about mindfulness and how I use it on a daily basis, more than ever at the moment. Iv done so much training and understand it all so well know I want to pass on the knowledge and sometimes the social media scene isn’t he place to do it.

I’m planning to write once a week and I’ll publish it on a Sunday morning. I’ll share a link each time it’s ready and you can then choose to click and read if you want to. It’s on a basic blogging site so I’ll need to do all the sharing if I want it to each enough people but I’m fine with that for now whilst I get the hang of it all. So please feel free to share with friends or anyone that you think each post might help.

At the moment I’m just explaining mindfulness and prepping you all for your mindful journeys and then I can progress on to what I’m doing and how it’s helping me.

I’ll try share a link in the comments below.

Love and light
Steph
