Pam is one of our dedicated carers, who was nominated by her colleagues for her thoughtful and considerate nature. Pam pays attention to the residents likes
and needs and often brings in little things for them that she knows they will appreciate.

✨ We have rooms available ✨

Currently, we have several rooms available including this recently refreshed front-facing ground floor room with en-suite toilet.

Facilities include two communal lounges, daily social and recreational activities, choice of delicious, home cooked meals and snacks, WiFi, laundry and housekeeping services, expansive grounds including a large back garden which is accessible to residents to enjoy the peace, observe the local wildlife or participate in some light gardening.

📣 WE ARE HIRING 📣

Lound Hall Nursing Home is currently hiring for:

1 xActivity Coordinator- applicants must be friendly, engaging, reliable and able to provide stimulating and supportive activities to enhance the lives of our residents. No experience necessary, just the right attitude and enthusiasm! We are looking for 30hrs a week, which will include alternate weekend work.

1 x Daytime Care Assistant- applicants must be friendly, reliable and professional. No experience necessary as full training will be provided. Full time hours available with weekend flexibility expected.

What a difference 24 hours make! ☀️☔️☁️ The residents have gone from tending to the garden on Monday to returning to the warmth of the lounge for crafts and cooking on Tuesday! In honour of National Rocky Road Day yesterday, we made our own chocolatey treats 🍫 because as celebrations go, this is one we can definitely get behind 😋

📣 Daytime Care Assistant 📣

A position has become available on our daytime care team! We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and reliable team member to join our care team working shifts between 8am-8pm. Shift pattern will include some weekends.

Experience preferred but not essential, as training will be given.
Benefits include paid breaks, free lunch (when working 12hr shifts), free parking and an employee assistance program.

We had a very special visit today from some military vehicle enthusiasts who brought their amazing American vehicles to the Hall for our residents to enjoy. After hearing about how the trucks have been lovingly restored, our Ken was kindly gifted a T-shirt and taken for a trip down the drive. It’s fair to say he’s been beaming from ear to ear ever since 😃
